Located in Fulgore Alcove, one of the Locus Shift treasure rooms, where it hangs from ceiling at the centre of the room.

To access this room, you first must:

Research Metrial Understanding and Aealic Understanding
Complete A Means to an End
Unlock the Fulgore Alcove from the Fulgore Alcove Arrangement at /way #1970 47.8 30.4, on an upper platform, on the side of a pillar (accessible from flying or possibly via the Secundus Locus)

Next gain at least 60 Cosmic Energy and enter Gravid Repose. Use the Locus Shift to take the Interior Locus to the Inner Chamber. You will now see a new Locus Shift (the Arcae Locus) upon the platform at the north-western side of the room, which you can use to travel to the Fulgore Alcove.

The room also contains 5 Progenitor Orbs, each above a different:

Interacting with any of the consoles will display the dialog:

The console thrums with energy. What could be buttons cover the surface, but they elude your understanding.

🗨 Ask Pocopoc to active the console.

Activating a console will cause its Progenitor Orb to start slowly floating around the room. You can click on it to sit upon it and let it carry you. Activating more of these and timing when to click on them to jump between them will eventually bring you close enough to click on this treasure.

It contains no special loot beyond the usual for one-time treasures.

Applicable to PTR characters only: If you unlocked the Ultimus Locus Arrangement or completed A Means to an End before All Ch 6 Symbols Found was added, you will not have flagged, which is required to see the additional Arrangements. You will need to create a brand new character instead and complete A Means to an End again.

There are five secret alcoves that can be reached using the Locus Shift that is unlocked while completing chapter 6 of the Zereth Mortis campaign. More information on the exact requirements to access each alcove can be found below by following the Wowhead links for their respective rewards:

Repertory Alcove - Contains a machine called the Requisites Originator which gives you six options to choose from on a presumably weekly lockout. Appears to be the primary source of Unalloyed Bronze Ingot.
Rondure Alcove - Two jumping puzzles to access Schematic: Omnipotential Core and Rondure Cache. The cache has a high chance to drop Pocobold. This is not the only way to obtain Pocobold though, so you may already have it.
Camber Alcove - A minigame where you drive a snail through five rings to obtain Schematic: Unsuccessful Prototype Fleetpod.
Dormant Alcove - Contains the seven sand piles required for the achievement Sand, Sand Everywhere!.
Fulgor Alcove - Pocopoc can access the consoles to help you reach the Torn Ethereal Drape, which doesn't appear to give anything special.

how disappointing, i expected a REALLY good Cloak for your spec when you loot this, instead it's pretty weak... makes the trip downright not worth, i'll wait until my Cyphers are maxed out, maybe it'll turn into a 252 when i grab it... doubt it but at least i'll know.

If you're trying to figure this one out, bring out Pocopoc. It'll give you an option to activate orbs you can ride to reach the curtain.

The rune is located on the backside of a hexagonal pillar. This rune unlocks a locus shift.
Wait till you have flying, then goto this exact location at max height, then go straight down. once you land the rune should be visible on the wall.

On new alts where I methodologically clear ZM from start to finish, this treasure is a bit of an odd one out. Early on, you can get a free 236 Antecedent Drape (assuming you have flying in ZM) by looting Gnawed Valise. The ZM campaign doesn't offer any cloak upgrades, so this treasure serves as a step up cloak (together with the sand piles giving 246 accessories) as it drops a 242 Antecedent Drape. Given the upgrade is so small, I tend to forget though.
