For those farming these guys for the Simple Tome of Bone-Binding, here are a couple of really quick tips:

The entire area where they spawn is surrounded by level 60 elites, so if you're thinking of farming it as a low level (at least, in that area), I wouldn't.
There are only about four that are easily accessible without having to pull everything else around them. Two on the far left of the area, then the two on the raised platform. Use Freezing Trap to incapacitate the warhound's handlers, then carefully pull the dogs away from the main road, or in the middle of the raised platform. There's an elite with an elite pet that walks through the road. After you kill the hound, use Feign Death for both you and your pets. Rinse and repeat for the other warhounds. Make sure to keep reapplying Freezing Trap on the handler. You can certainly try to kill both at the same time, but until later on in the xpac I wouldn't risk it.
Use the camouflage talent to get through the area, but a lot of the mobs can see through it so be careful where you go.
Keep the Mend Pet dot up at all times. If you forgot and your pet almost dies, use Exhilaration instead for an instant health boost for your pet.
Use counter shot, intimidation, and tranquilizing shot to interrupt/remove the spell buff they do.
I would try farming as Beast Master instead of Marksman so your pets can tank. They hit pretty hard and can probably tear into you faster than you can kill it (at this point in time).

It took me about ten or so kills before the tome dropped. But those ten kills were pretty stressful. As long as you stay aware of your surroundings and are careful about where you stand, you shouldn't have any issues. Good luck!

2 fighting in a pit at 37.30, 74.73 (this is where I pulled them to, with no adds), also 1 that spawns at 36.25, 76.83 (killing it where it spwans). No roaming call for help fire dog for either spot if careful.

If you continue south from there. You will see one sleeping to your left who can be solo pulled. Beware roaming fire dog, and 1 elite pack (2 mobs). There is also one of these next to that sleeping one, freeze trap his tubby buddy. By the time you deal with the 4th, the first 2 should be back up. Best to let both spawn and beat on each other. Freeze the 1, deal with the other.

I also let them do their little beastial howl, don't waste time interrupting it. Then click on tranq shot. I don't see it in the tooltip, but you gain 10 focus when you use it and it removes something.

Did this at ilvl 145. 10 kills in so far. 25% drop rate I think not...

Is there a prerequisite for the tome? Im 25 kills in, nothing.
