Stitches moves around in a puddle of goo. Standing in the puddle gives you a stacking debuff Aura of Rot and you can reset this if you move out; if the stack reaches ten (10) you instantly die. If you move out of the aura Stitches will hook you back in with Stitches' Hook; this stacks for every hook and lasts for two (2) minutes, making it slower and slower to move out and reset the stacks.

If you are quick enough to reenter the goo after clearing your stacks, he will not hook you, and you will not obtain a stack of the slowing debuff.

If you stun or otherwise CC Stitches he won't be able to hook you, so you can step out of the aura and clear your stacks without getting hooked and slowed. Makes for a pretty easy fight.

Stitches is the fourth Rank 4 bosses of the Legion Brawler's Guild.

Fight order: Rank 4, Fight 4
Health: around 24.200.000
Harm skills:

Aura of Rot - Aura that boss spreads around it, deals increasing damage and stacks up to 10. You will die immidiately on 10 stacks, so you have to run out of aura to reset stacks.
Stitches' Hook - As you run out of Aura of Rot, Stitches pulls you back with that ability. Deals small damage, but decreases movement speed by 10%, also stacks. So, if you got 10 stacks, you'll die as you cant run out of aura anymore.

Had an unusual experience, where the aura never did any damage to me, nor did it increase its stacks. I ran forward before he appeared, cause I didn't want to get hooked at start, so I began the fight in the goo. Maybe that had something to do with it.

If you run into the area he spawns you don't seem to get the aura of rot stack

If you are a Demon Hunter, you don't need to get out of Aura of Rot at all to clear your stacks, since double jumping make you go high enough for them to reset.

Having an awful time on my alliance hunter.

Sometimes the Aura does not stack and stays at 1.
Other time it jumps from 1 to 8 instantly and then I die in 1 second.

Extremely buggy

Finally made it past this. I turned off the talent for the arm candy pet (I think the dot is combining the stacks on me and both my pets). Then I used a pre-pot, drums, spirit beast and manually moved my pet around the arena. I still got permanently chained into the goo but my stacks stayed at 1 my pet gained stacks like crazy. If you don't do it fast enough your pet dies and even if you revive it the pet instantly dies again. (Meanwhile stitches is popping 14-25k dps into you with an invisibly high dot)

Very easy to kill when you have the BFA Engineering Googles like Charged SP1-R1-73D Orthogonal Optics with the Azerite Power Personal Absorb-o-Tron. While the Absorb-o-Tron is up you your stacks will reset and the robot will take the stacks instead.

He seems to be bugged in regards to pets, i.e. you share stacks of Aura of Rot with all your pets hence why hunters have a hard time and I presume this applies to any pet of any class so my advice to you is just switch to a spec that isn't reliant on pets and wreck him as normal.

For some reasons, stacks seem to reset every time you use a slow. Slows don't last on him though - you'll have to re-slow him to reset your stacks again.
As ele shaman that meant I just used Frost Shock every time I got to 3 stacks or so. Don't have to move at all this way - very easy fight. Should work for any other class, as long as you have some sort of spammable/short cd/passive slow.

Pets seem to bug the fight causing rapid stack gain, so avoid using them.

Did it with a hunter !

tldr : pain in the a**

First of all, forget about your pet => MM
Remember to use all your resources : trinkets, buff, etc... (Trueshot,Exhilariation)
Have the consomables (Healing + Agi Brawler's potions)
The engineering helm is a great tool with "Personal Absob-o-tron" trait, try to have the highest level possible.

Now is the time for the kitting OF YOUR LIFE !
Always maintain Concussive Shot, stay out of range but in the green circle. Maximise your dps and pray for good procs. Got it after a dozen of tries. GLHF

im having problems, im pretty sure its a bug, i keep running out and the aura stack aren't resetting. also the stacks appear to be random.

I think my fight was bugged out or something. I was just standing still attacking Stitches, and my aura stack would go to 1, 2, 3, 4, and then just reset randomly. Made the fight a crap ton easier so not complaining, but let me know if anyone else experienced this. Warrior btw.

I used my Earth Elemental, and I simply gained no stacks of the goo. Not sure what happened exactly, but it trivialized the fight.

resets when you go outside of the green (and jump) .. so at beginn just go outside after 4-5+ stacks and then repeat.. later when the slow from his hook is to big then use movement abilities like leap to go outside and reset green stacks.
