Connected Accounts
A new feature has appeared on battle.net, allowing players to connect their battle.net account to an X-Box Live account or a Playstation Network account. The page offers "legendary rewards and benefits" for doing so, but it remains unclear just exactly what those might be.
It seems likely that this may relate to the upcoming release of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls on console on August 19. It will release on PS3, PS4, XBox 360 and XBox One. Over a year ago, Blizzard Community Manager Vaeflare said in
a forum post
that "there are currently no plans to allow connectivity between PlayStation Network and Battle.net". Maybe this account connection signals a change to this policy going forwards?
Significant Tweets: Garrisons, Toybox, Pet Battles
We know it's hard to keep up with tweet traffic, especially at busy times like this, so we've put together a post sorting all the tweets since our last update into easy-to-read tabs. And of course there's the
Wowhead Blue Tweet Tracker
and

New Feature Preview: Forum Signatures
Wowhead is beta-testing a new feature:
Character-based forum signatures!
Right now,
anyone with a premium account can try them out
, and you can use them here on Wowhead or on any other forum that accepts image embeds. Here's how you get set up:
Creating a signature
Claim a character. To do this, look up your character on the
Profiler
. Hit the button, and select
Claim Character
.
Once the character is claimed, click the button and select
Signature
.
Once you're there, this will take you to the
signature page!
Here you can edit all sorts of things—what statistics your signature shows, background colors, text colors, and so forth. You can adjust the color of the background from a simple gradient to any of a number of "Wowhead backgrounds" (which we borrowed from the in-game cloak textures). You can even upload your own!
Once you have your signature finished, click
Submit
and your signature will be saved to your user page, under the
Signatures
tab. You can see

Tools > Utilities
, you'll find a new button labeled
missing screenshots
. This will show you all the items, spells, NPCs, and so on in our database that don't have screenshots yet, so
you
can be the first to submit one!
Now's the time—explore that brave new redesigned world, and post your findings!

Personalized Search Update: Now Works On All Completion Data
Remember when we posted yesterday to let you know about our new
Personalized Quest Searches
?
Well we've published a little tweak to update it—you can now filter
any search you have completion data for, based on whether or not you've completed it!
That means you can sort out any of the following categories based on whether or not you've completed them:
Mounts
Companions
Recipes
Quests
(of course)
Achievements
Titles
Factions
(so you can sort by which ones you have at Exalted and which ones you don't)
There's a lot of potential here, and I'm really eager to see how you guys use it. Let us know!

New Feature: Personalized Searches
You guys are going to love this:
you can now display search results based on whether or not your character has completed them!
Here's how it's done:
Upload character data using the
Wowhead Client
.
This won't work unless you have quest data uploaded for the character you want to use!
Go to the character you want to use as your main.
Once your data is upload, the character should appear on your
user page
, or in the dropdown user menu at the top right.* I'm using
Malgayne
as an example.
Click the button.
Now go browse through a category we show completion data for—
quest listings
are one good example.
There should be a new section at the bottom of the filters, labelled
Completion
.
Now, just click "Available" or "Unavailable" to only show quests that are available (or unavailable) to your pinned character!
The real power of this comes when you view a list of quests for a zone, then you filter for ones that are 'available' and for your faction. This will give y

New features: glyphs in completion tracker, multi-skillup support, map phasing
We've added a few cool new features around the site for you to play with!
Glyphs in the Completion Tracker
You can now view what glyphs you know in the Completion Tracker! They're listed directly underneath your talents on the
talents pane of the Profiler
.
Give it a try! Upload your data using the
Client
, and then check your characters!

Multiple Skill-Up Filters
You can now filter for items that reward more than one skill point when crafted! Try this link to see a list of glyphs that reward three skill points instead of one:

Phasing Support for Zone Pages
Our zone pages now support separate phases for quests! You can now click through different phases of a map just like you would the floors of a dungeon. Some of the zones are tiny c
