As an German it´s the brewfest. It´s like the World of WoW (The World of World of Warcraft? sounds silly^^) feels a little bit like "home". And of course there is a lot of Beer! The most atmosphere event is still the Winter Veil it´s the WoW version of Chrismas. It´s just feels good.
I love the midsummer fest. You travel around the world, seeing the beautiful environments while kindling or extinguish bonfires. Just you and your mount, listening to the music and the sound of that area.

Love is in the Air - that's because my wife and i had a beautiful ingame wedding back on our 1st LiitA :)
Feast of Winter Veil, my favorite holidays in real life ane in game, just love that <3
Got to be Lunar Festival. When I first started it took me everywhere including the dungeons.Filed miserable due to being low level but but still... it encouraged you to explore into the dungeons.
gotta catch em all?
Close to 800 pages of comments is tough to compete with, but here goes nothing! Sorry about the wall of text... you did say put effort into it! XDI started playing WoW in the fall of 2007, and Hallow's End was the first in-game holiday I encountered. Ever since then it's been my favorite event. I'd barely passed level 10 when the Headless Horseman descended on Goldshire, and I remember putting groups together to put out the fires and defend our little town. It was in one of these groups that I met one of my best in-game friends, who I eventually leveled to 70 with. Unfortunately he doesn't play anymore, but that first grind from 1-70 with a buddy when everything was new and shiny are my best WoW memories. During Hallow's End even as under-20 newbs we still felt pretty badass every time we saved Goldshire. It was serious business. My real life friend was helping me learn the ropes and one of his characters looted a broomstick, and I thought it was one of the greatest things I'd seen in game so far (mind you, that was pretty limited). This was long before achievements, when we ran everywhere until level 40 and flying was a skill reserved for the greatest adventurers in Outland. Even though under level 40 the broom traveled at run speed, it was still awesome, because you didn't have to actually walk. Being on a broomstick made the endless treck from one side of Elwynn Forest to the other somehow feel less daunting. I still think the broomstick should be a permanent mount! The next time Hallow's End rolled around I'd finally dinged 70 and was able to kill the Horseman. Getting to him back then as Alliance was half the battle, and I'm sure it was the Horde's favorite holiday simply because they got hundreds of free honour kills camping Scarlet Monastery. Not to mention picking off unsuspecting lowbies in Southshore! Even though it was unbelievably frustrating I kind of miss that challenge. That year I also got lucky and looted the Horseman's Reins, my first rare mount and still one I like to pull out every so often. Seeing it drop and winning the roll (before daily loot bags) was a real "I win" moment.Even though the World has changed and the holidays with it, Hallow's End remains one of the few that's still fun to participate in, no matter how many times you've done it. The two new pets this year were a welcome addition; the Feline Familiar especially, since it took the honorable spot of pet #150 on my main (Kyraah of <Spite>, US Laughing Skull) and has quickly become my favorite pet by far. A cat that rides its own broom... what more can you ask for? I might have every one of the holiday achievements and a Violet Proto Drake to prove it, but WoW holidays are still events I look forward to, Hallow's End especially - for all the great memories it made, and the fun moments it will bring in the years to come!
Personally, I really enjoy Children's Week. It gives me a lot of pleasure feeling like I'm helping a little kid who has a lot of potential and dreams of bigger things in life than being an orphan. It always made me feel 10 feet tall when he would tell me how much it meant for me to take him around to all the places and show him the incredible things out in the world.Maybe some day we'll see some of these orphans grow up and participate in some meaningful NPC way somewhere out there in the WoW universe. That'd make me smile :)
That would have to be Lunar Festival for the festive atmosphere, fireworks and clothing! Holidays that have you visit parts of the world that you've either forgotten about or never visited in the first place while discovering lore are really fun!
