My favorite holiday is without a dough Brewfest, because i like beer, the music is epic and in general the feel of the world.
I would have to say that my favorite holiday is Winter Veil. I really enjoy the WoW spin they put on the Christmas stories with the quests to defeat the Abominable Greench and rescuing the stolen reindeer. Its also fun seeing what gifts you get each year!
Hallows End, hands down, has always been my favorite WoW holiday. This year, when I found out about the Feline Familiar, I squeed a squee that has never been squeed before, because all of my toons have the name "____witch", so what's a better companion for a passel of witches but a witch-hat wearing demonic black cat on a broom? That's right, NOTHING!This Hallow's End, I have resorted to bribery, crying, and flat out begging for help to be able to get all of my toons the Familiar, and so far, I'm 7/10!
Love is in the air. I usually make quite a large sum of gold selling the bracelets. Capitalism at work <3
Probably... The christmas seasonal :). Waking up in the morning to check under my digital tree for a FLYING ZEPPLIN. Oh yes!
Picking a favorite holiday would be tricky...I've been playing since the beginning, so I've watched them turn up and develop. Originally it was hallow's end, just because halloween is my favorite actual holiday, but as I think about it, it would have to be Brewfest.Brewfest feels more integrated into the world than the other holidays. There are more things connecting it to the lore of the game than the rest, I think. Hallow's end has a quest explaining 'where'd this guy come from' and winterveil is all about gobling merchendizing, but that had to be added, it had to be explained to us. Brewfest, though, was already there, conceptually. We already knew that dwarves and ogres and everyone made beer, the simple fact that they had yearly contests to prove which one was best made sense without needing an explanation or a new reason. Even the boss, typically tacked on (yes Ahune I am looking at you) makes sense. Dwarves feuding over beer recipes fits their character perfectly!Plus, brewfest just feels more...fun. There's more to do, more silly toys, the dailies are fun without being irritating, and even the Dark Iron Invasion doesn't get boring the way the wickerman stuff does. Plus, it brought us beer goggles that turn majodomo into a gnome. That's hard to beat.
Love is in the Air.I have a very fond memory of that holiday two years ago (I think), right before the loot bag system was implemented, so when something cool dropped everyone had to roll on it. My friends and I ran that place every single day for two weeks to farm those oozelings and hope at a chance for the mount. Granted, everyone except me got the damned pet but it still brings back good memories of our SFK holiday farm group. We ended up getting desperate and summoning alts in, but my fortune was little.Looking forward to my shot at the pet again.
I would say Hallow's End. Because I have always loved halloween in real life. Kids running around in costumes asking for candy and the "scary" setting of it all! :)
The Mid summer fire festival! Why! Well the world PVP of course! There's no challenge like one mind verses another! Going after each city/major city to put out the other factions fire.-Keepin it simple, Enthaupten.
My favourite holliday in WoW is easily Hallows end, the backstory to it is pretty cool. And who doesent love costumes, candy and a crazy headles horseman setting towns on fire while he cackles like a madman! I have fond memories of when costumes worked with druid forms, like the noggenfogger skeleton, and that skelleton you turned into from eating that candy that transforms you. Skeleton swinging a 2h with an attack speed of 1sec or less (catform) was just hillarious! :)Hallows end is also the closest form of celebrating halloween I get, not really a big thing here in Norway.
Well, one of my fondest memories when I first picked up my hand in WoW was of course, Hallow's End. I had played MMO's before, and though they had a general holiday theme each time one came around, WoW was very very different! I still remember that little level 5 paladin on my trial account, running around gathering what little buckets I could and killing the headless horseman with the high levels as he tried to burn down Goldshire, only to leave behind the well known pumpkin that rewarded you with a flying broom so that you could zoom zoom around the zones. Even now, Hallow's End is one of my more favorite holidays. Each bucket bringing you a handful of candies, over the years the same candies changing use and even giving you special buffs or even more entertaining lights that dance above your head! The wands, more readily available than before and being changed and masked in costumes and colorful get ups. The queues of the Dungeon to finally ward off the Headless Horseman, and get rings and trinkets and goodies otherwise. The chance to fly around and cackle on the same mount he rides in the sky with. It's just an enchanting holiday, Broomsticks and Candies and bombing the Undercity/Stormwind! It's even better this year, and next year it will be even moreso! Happy Hallow's End to all!
My favorite holiday is Winter Weil, cause then I get presents and I love presents
While I'd love to say "Midsummer Fire Festival!" or "Lunar Festival!" . . . . . . I have to be honest and say "Hallow's End." The Candy Bucket XP, Horseman Fight and general creepy atmosphere are too delicious for my Forsaken soul to pass up.
I love Hallow's End, always been a fan of halloween , me and my mates dress up occasionally to celebrate different holidays but the best costumes always come out at halloween, and its always fun to "Trick or Treat" IRL and in game :)
Hallow's End is the best but then again I have always loved Halloween! I mean when else can a person dress up as some weird thing and get away with it! Seriously can u see any one walking around looking like a zombie, vampire, witch, skeleton, ghost, robot,a favorite tv character or what ever other things folks can think of every day? HECK NOSo HALLOW'S END it is!
Love is in the AirDresses, Perfume, and the ability to force other players to lead around a small half-naked goblin with wings.
