*Golfclap*
I was just telling my guild the other day that our hunters should swap pets to one with Mortal Wounds for the healing debuff as we learn the Lords of Dread fight, and they thought it didn't work on bosses. Glad to see a niche ability being useful for a change! Great world race!
The Mortal Strike healing reduction affecting the boss is intended. Blizzard placed the clue on the hotfixes by nerfing the healing of Diverted Life Shield. Echo checked the logs and saw that the warlocks have considerably reduced the healing of the boss. So they added that and the clues from the hotfixes together and had one of their warriors respec to Arms for the maximum healing reduction. You can watch it on the post-race interview with Scripe and Roger.
Congratulations Echo, well deserved victory! Also awesome played by Liquid you guys are all great players. I hope the next raid will be just as exciting (but perhaps not 18 days long :P )
I loved watching this raid race. However, I feel like this was a little too long for everybody. It's really sad that the competitor for spot #1 has to give up because of logistics. Congrats peeps! A job well done!
First Up GZ for the kill to Echo. Now im Missing one tiny piece of information in your display of the raid roster. It is the humongous amount Gold used by the Team to achieve this Goal. Liquid who didnt even manage to world first spend almost 1 Billion gold in the process. Skill is still required to down jailer that is a given. But even Echos Skill cant undo the Gear requirement that the mythic jailer or mythic in General has. The Gold enabled them to even try it. In nyalotha everyone was in shock when the guilds announced they used Well over 300 Mil gold looking at this now one could say its gotten even worse.
Perfect ,Good job !
Congratulations Echo! :)
