I don't think everything should be account wide, but it should all cascade. The player's time and effort should be the champagne poured into the top glass of the tower. Eventually the glass is filled. You can then either continue to pour into the top glass (playing your main contributes to the alts) or you can pour the champagne directly into the lower glasses (playing your alts). There should be no deviation to this method. Rep tokens could be earned like in Legion, past exalted if necessary. All currency including Timewarped and Darkmoon should be account bound.

They should generally make more of alts in some way. Like, when there were garrisons, it would have been nice to see my toons walking around sometimes. Oh you sweet summer child. At best this is managed change within an extremely predictable design pattern. If you're a person that rolls a dice 100 times and think that because the number is different every time it's a "change", then I have a magic cup to show you, if you turn it around it changes shape, the handle is never in exactly the same position. Wowwww! But more than likely it's business as usual at Blizzard HQ, unless you have the memory of a goldfish, and you've forgotten how the Heart of Azeroth and Artefact weapons were "designed" in subsequent patches.

How do Blizzard and its shills really regard the core audience of the game (foolishly btw)? I'm reminded of this quote:
