So... I'd really, really, rather they just take the stupid loot box out, then.Right now, the system is dumb. It's incredibly dumb. It's so epically RNG that I've literally gotten the same slot 7/8 weeks in a row and the EXACT same piece of gear 3 weeks in a row. I had a ilvl ~460 character who could get upgrades from the box in all but 2 slots and got those two slots over and over again for 2 months. It's dumb. It just feels bad. In the new system, absolutely nothing is changed. My entire in-game social circle got the +15 achievement months ago and even at the time, no one was running at least 5x 15s (let alone 15x 15s) per week per character. The vast majority of players will see absolutely no change from the weekly disappointment box other than feeling worse because they didn't grind extra. Blizzard isn't doing anything to fix the horribly bad RNG of the disappointment box (which is what everyone was hoping for), Blizzard is just trying to make a system where they can blame the players for getting bad RNG if they don't run 15 keys every week on every character they want to play.This box is bad. Blizzard should feel bad for doing it. Players aren't trying to get more loot for less work, we just want to take the edge off of the bad feeling RANDOM just a little. BLIZZARD - just give us the little quality of life change. It's not going to ruin your game. There's already going to be plenty of things to grind, let us pick from some options without flaming hoops to jump through.
Change M+ to 1:4:8 or 1:5:10 at least. 15 is just insane.I think the lowest of your highest key strategy is fine as is. It prevents people from just stacking high end players, one tank and 4 dps, grinding out normal mythic dungeons to hit their cap for max level loot. It promotes working together to do content, rather than taking the easy way out.

this is by far thee most stupid thing ive ever seen even thought of being implimented so far ... most people will only do the 15 each week because there is a negative to run anymore than that ... why would i help someone do ANYTHING if its going to ruin my chest for the week ... sure the 1st drop is good but what if the piece i wanted is the 3rd drop in that list ... now its lets say 30 ilvl lower making it worthless for me to do anything past the 1st run because it wont reward me with anything useable ... soo if there is a mount im farming (freehold for instance... i understand this is for shadowlands and im using a BFA dungeon calm down pls) 2 of my 3 chest drops from Mythic dungeons are now 100% worthless because the ilvl will be soo low vs a 15 piece that its unthinkable to be chosen soo even if the 15 piece is NOT AN UPGRADE it will still be chosen for "scraping" because it will more than likely reward higher "titan residuum" (or whatever it will be in shadowlands)... it imo is insulting to have the system as it currently is ... either make the drops rely on ur top key or remove this ... because i dont know anyone who runs 15 +15's a week ... not on my server atleast ... maybe some of those M+ competition guys might do more than that each week but its honestly unthinkable for any player to grind out 15 +15's a week just to get 2 extra chest CHANCES not even pieces of gear just more options at gear ... now think about someone like me who tries to complete the game each xpac ... ur talking about dedicating half the time i play every week to just M+ ... which i hate by itself let alone doing 15 of them a week ... insulting is putting it lightly imo its well beyond that soo if its not changed it more than likely will be a worthless system because honestly do expect most people to get anything worthwhile from those 2nd 2 choices because the requirements to get ANYTHING meaningful is outlandish ... 5 15's i can ALMOST see but 15 is absolutely insane ... ur basically asking someone to clear mythic twice each week on the same toon ... for 1-2 extra option on ur weekly chest ... its unheard of and its outrageous imo ... i NEVER post on here but this is unacceptable imo soo i had to make a post this is insane to me to ask people to run 15 +15's a week for 2 extra CHANCES at a piece of gear a week ... its basically pointless they might as well go back to the old system because no1 is going to do 15 15's a week... no1 besides maybe HoF raiders trying to get #1 or whatever(not naming names here) ... not even CE people would do this because its actually insane to askEDIT: after reading a few comments i agree that id rather have the box removed entirely than deal with this BS of a system2nd EDIT: if it rewarded a 2nd and 3rd piece of gear ... it would be worth doing but otherwise it is not imo, that is the only way of redeeming the current system as it is... if it goes into the game as it is stated here ... i know i wont be doing more than 1 run a week personally because this system disincentivizes doing anything past that 1st run. why would u want to do a reg mythic even IF it gave u that 2nd piece of gear it would still be worthless due to ilvl. soo now why would i run ANYTHING past that 1st run? to help someone? why? they can gear themselves i guess because your going to ruin my 2nd drop if i do a dungeon with ya ... sorry fred but cant help ya gear now because my chest is gonna be ruined... i thought blizzard wanted to include more people and have a helpful veteran player base(guide system) with this chest BS here ur basically pushing people to NOT include lower geared players thus creating an elitist mindset without even trying to do it... because why should i help this scrub if its gonna ruin my chest? ... idk if u got my point here yet or not but its going to ruin ur chest to help someone else ... now i understand not the entire chest itself will be ruined but what is the point of the 2ndary choices if they are worthless outright to begin with?
So I really dislike this system. I get that you have to not have someone do one 15 and then 14 zeros and get 3 +15 rewards. That said there should be more of an average than your x highest key. In their example you did 4 +15's so you ran a bunch of guildies through keys. Then I want to run my alt why is anyone in the guild going to run me through a low key and get basically a dead reward. I would have liked it better if it was an average of your top 5 runs rounded up, and top 15 runs rounded up. Lets you get the reward of you pushing higher keys with the chance of getting two decent pieces. Raid sure make it that way off of they highest reward so we would get two heroic and a normal if we stall at 8/10 and full clear normal. Keys I still think should be an average of your runs rather than just taking the xth highest.I don't hate the system I just think that an average would reward players better if they are trying to push keys rather than keeping it as it is where if you don't have a 15 you have to fight to get into a 15. (or whatever the highest reward tier is)
So this system is just as bad as I thought it would be. The average person will see zero additional choices, since most don't run more than a handful per week, and now you will feel bad on top of getting duplicate loot every week because you could have ground out more to meet an arbitrary number to qualify for an additional choice. And they are going by this ridiculous "lowest key determines the reward," just as I suspected. So 1/5th and 1/15th of the keys actually matter. Do a single 12 and fourteen 15s and your third "choice" is a 12. 1/15th determines 100% of the loot quality lol. Ridiculous. Just as ridiculous as 1/5th determining 100% of the loot quality. Average this &*!@ out or nothing matters. Jesus Christ. This ain't 200IQ rocket science here blizzard. I can come up with a better system in 5 min where effort matters, doing high keys matter, but you are't brutally punished for an outlier low key in a bracket. My system reflects the difficulty you do. This system is trash and needs to be revised before live. Get to it blizzard.

Ah, so we actually don't have a choice unless we also raid or pvp. The 10 and 15 options aren't even choices, just trash gear filling up the board.
This entire system seems stupidly convoluted and confusing.Okay, reading it more it's still stupid. I grasp the system. But in order to have 3 valid Mythic+ options you'll need to do 15 Mythic 15's. That's just ridiculous to reduce RNG by a meagre fraction.
Cant really call this a decent change. As much as blizzard says "iTs Not aBoUt GamE tImE" this weekly chest just screams of gametime pad. So if i want decent choice i have to do roughly 10hrs of dungeons "We improved the weekly chest, but not really".
