Senior Environment/Prop Artist Ashleigh Warner has announced that she is leaving Blizzard after 8 years on the on the World of Warcraft Prop Art team. She also headed off inevitable questions, stating that her leaving was likely affected by the lawsuit that Blizzard is facing regarding its treatment of women, but that really she is just excited about a new opportunity that she will share details on later.
All retail players will have encountered Warner's work on WoW. She will be remembered for such favorites as transmog glasses,
Daisy
the charity pet, and the
Elekk Plushie
.
Warner has shared much of her
WoW work on ArtStation
including work from Warlords of Draenor through the present. If you enjoy her style, you can learn from her; she teaches a course in
creating finished props and environment assets
at
CGMA
.
Best of luck to you, Ashleigh, your work was very much appreciated and you will be missed.

Dreamhaven or Riot no doubt.
Dreamhaven is probably dead before it got started now that Morheim is outed for not doing anything.

Here you go, cheers!

Daisy is probably the most iconic … pet in all of WoW.
A pet that has been available for all of a month or two is the most iconic? That’s some pretty intense hyperbole.
It is the only pet that actually interacts with your character, so yeah, I would say pretty iconic.
You need to revisit your understanding of the definition of the word "iconic".
