Wow. These are all awful. Maybe except the tank one. And the one that with the rage.
The speed one is kinda cool (for old raids ofc).
these all seem really interesting to me personally, i can totally see certain phials favouring certain specs/encounters. much more creative than just a one-size-fits-all +70 main stat flask
Most of these seem kinda meh, borderline unusable compared to others.
I'm really not feeling that 'crit at the eventual cost of health' phial lmao, oh boy that's gonna be a fun one on farm.
A lot of these don't feel like a buff at all
My monkUses crit vialProcs DoT Touch of karma and absorb Uses DoT as a dps increase
Phials last for 30 minutes, half the duration of Flasks in previous expansions. So you're gonna need to pop one of these in the middle of a M+ dungeon?
I don't think the alchemy stone effect is a typo. From the way I read it it adds 60 sec to your current phial everytime the effect procs. So the more you are in active combat the longer your phial will last. And from the looks of it, it currently have around 2 PPM. This means it can potential be extended indefinitely.
I like these effects.
"We assume the 60 seconds is a typo, as this Phial duration increase seems similar to the Alchemy bonus of double Flask duration in previous expansions"Why would it be a typo?... The proc increases the duration...
So how are cauldrons supposed to work now?
Absolutely terrible. I understand that the current flask could be said to be "boring" since it's just a flat increase, but most of these are a joke.Phial of Charged Isolation is absolutely the worst culprit here, guaranteed to cause every mage and other ranged dps to be even whinier than usual with "WAAH you came near me and made me lose my phial buff WAAH".Meanwhile Static Empowerment is guaranteed to make people stop moving out of any aoe that will not one-shot them so as not to lose the buff.Call me crazy, but I don't think your main consumable should be actively encouraging toxic behavior.Corrupting Rage will make your healers hate you, and honestly in cases like m+ it might be a net decrease if you're making them waste dps time to heal you up, especially when a different phial might be a bigger increase for you in the first place. The valid choices seem pretty obvious. For M+ it's clearly Glacial Fury for DPS (and possibly healers), and Eye in the Storm for tanks. For raids, if you can somehow stand still for the majority of the fight, Static Empowerment, if you can reliably be isolated, Charged Isolation. However it's such odd tuning to have Phials with potentially 100% uptime grant you around 300 of a primary stat, and have a random proc one grant you just over 200 of a secondary stat. Unless Elemental Chaos has an uptime so high that you can have at least 1 buff 100% of the time and a second one for about half the time (and a third one for a little bit of the time), it will also go to the trash pile in favor of Static Empowerment. So it will be a fun expansion for fans of not moving and fans of yelling at people to not get near them.
Sooo.... Couldron?
Don’t like it. Just wanna use my flask and not swap between bosses for max output. Same way it sucks now with switching covenants and souldbinds if you wanna have mac output.
These kind of "interesting" buffs will not work if there's still a plain Main stat/Versa buff out there. You just end up using the plain versa phial I guess.
