Right after TBC came out i was killin mobs in Zangarmarsh i pwned so much and "The Stoppable Force" dropped i was like "WOOOTS!".... that about sums up my luck with winning rolls on epics
My most 'epic' loot was finishing my T1 set. I've had other tier pieces and epics, but finishing T1 just felt like such an accomplishment.
When my guild got its first kill on Rage Winterchill, everyone died but me and he was at 1%. I evasion tanked him and popped all my cooldowns and me and Jaina kill him just after my evasion dropped, luckily I got 2 lucky dodges. He dropped the Deadly Cuffs, which I wont and were my first piece of T6 loot.

In wow vanilla my first ever epic was http://www.wowhead.com/?item=19903 of which I was pretty psyched about.In TBC http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30910 obviously, I was so happy when I got it as the first in my guild. Mind you that after that we got like 5 more, but I was still the first.
I think my best epic is my Magical Crawdad pet. I spent an uncountable number of weeks at 70 trying to win the fishing competition and get the improved thread. In between raid and arena battles, I could only be found in Terokkar Forest at one of the lakes that required a flying mount. I supplied guildies with stacks of stamina and regen food with the garbage I pulled in. Finally after about 4 straight weeks of this routine, I finally caught Mr. Pinchy. That was only part of the process. I then had to ask Mr. Pinchy for my first wish...and all I got were some Mana and HP pots. Second wish, more of the same 2 days later. With my fingers crossed I asked Mr. Pinchy for my final wish, thankfully he was kind enough to provide me with a mini crab companion to follow me everywhere!
The most epic thing I've ever encountered was creating my Sulfuron Hammer. I started WoW just a few months before Burning Crusade was released, so the idea of collecting the materials for the hammer was moot by the time I reached 60, but the idea of creating such an epic weapon that could one day become legendary was just too good to pass up.It took roughly six months to farm most of the mats and then another year to purchase the ultra-rare Sulfuron Ingots from the AH since my guild was no longer running Molten Core. After that year and a half though, it was wickedly exciting to solo Lord Incendius to gain access to the Black Anvil and finally make the mace.The only thing that I believe can top this is if, by some miracle, I'm able to finally run Molten Core and win the roll on Eye of Sulfuras. With a 1.5% drop rate, the odds of that happening would be very, very slim. But it would be, I believe, the greatest achievement a blacksmith could achieve in the game. It definitely earns the title of Feat of Strength.
