Extent of this topic:A: This is bad and cheating using MD like that.B: You just mad bro/ you likely bad, can’t time +8/ there should be more things like this in game, gives flavor/ echo asked and blizz said it was okay/ that’s not what they were doing, did you even watch the vid?
They talked and explained the pull in detail to blizz before the game to make sure it was OK. Just like snapping, this is also okay. The writer of this article must have got stuck in the schpulemachine.Big gratz to Echo for a well deserved, smart play win! 🌺
This all comes down to don't hate the player hate the game. Blizzard allowed it to happen so it would've been stupid for Echo not to use that strat. Accept that it happened and appeal to Blizzard to change their ruling on bug usage.
The misdirection bug was known for at least weeks and even the casters acknowledged that on streamThere's no defending what echo did here. They either didn't read the rule book, or just knew blizzard wouldn't play by it. Either way this is no where near a deserved win for echo.
Have you ever considered that maybe other teams didn't bother to practice these kind of bug abusing strategy because blizzard explicitly said in the rule book that exploits are not allowed?
I honestly have no clue why people are so head over heels with Echo. They're good, sure, but... They're also scummy. Their entire vibe is scummy. What they just did is even scummier and a piss poor call by blizz to allow it. A known bug was being used (it was completely known to the ones using it, and was intentionally kept from blizzard's bug reports, so that they could keep abusing it) and they just handed them the cup. All so that Echo can fully become the new Method, complete with cancerous culture and dubious morals. And &*!@# Gingi can sell gamer boy bath water branded as energy drinks ~_~ Disgraceful.

Best way to showcase your game is people using bugs lol....
Ethically, I feel like Echo needs to be DQ'd for exploiting a bug in a real money competition. That is basically the definition of cheating.
Blizzard just hire them boys as game testers and pay them ;)
did you not read how it works? you use it start of the key and cancel it so its permanent. He was hiding his UI every time he did it. You can go watch the vods of it.
This game really became very sad when even exploiting specific spells bugs are allowed.Hey, we don't need to patch anything - they will just say it's the way it is - I can almost hear blizzard employee saying this in the background. If u let them it will become normal thing to fool you just the way they want ;)PS - world first 28 PF? oh thank god it was on LIVE so everyone could see and try to beat them on live servers lol = more playtime = more moneeey from players
I quote Blizzards own CoC from their website: "Using third-party programs to automate any facet of the game, exploiting bugs, or engaging in any activity that grants an unfair advantage is considered cheating."Yet they allow it in a tournament for thousands to see. Well. What do you expect from that $%^& company that is unable to deliver content since over half a year in a game where Millions pay monthly for it AND for the expansion. All I feel for these clowns is hate.
Even with this bug you have to play the Plagueborer tactic very properly, but down the road it's still bug using and this shouldn't be allowed, especially in a tournament.
That was honorable, win with using a BUGperfect
