Glad to see they are going to address the performance issues with Ashran.
Good. Ashran was a mess. Maybe this will help a bit.
It's cool having the larger groups but it just doesn't work. It's way too laggy.
Honestly, if Ashran stays a 25-person BG, I'd be more than ok with that.
People out there earning achievements in the Tarren Mill vs Southshore brawl and here I am struggling to do anything due to the lag
Ashran never lagged for me and is a fun honorfarm. #NoChanges
Just look at recent video on the insane amount of RNG in the game that lags out things like this. Fix those.
Cool, now address the performance issue on IoC, WG, AV and all the other 40v40 BGs while your at it.
The issue isn't with Ashran in general. The issue isn't people having FPS issues if they run lower end machines. The issue isn't that "I have a good connection I don't lag in Ashran"The issue is that the game can't handle more than 30 people at the same time, let alone 20v20, 40v40 or anything else. Watch Preach's last video on it where he shows dice as example, it perfectly illustrates the problem.Lowering Ashran to 25v25 might make it a bit better, but if you go from 5+ seconds delay to 2+ it's still absolutely unplayable. They need to sort this $%^& out in Shadowlands.Saying you "don't and never lag in Ashran" is just a lie. Everyone lags in Ashran, AV, Isle, TvS or world PvP if 30+ people clash together.
It was already laggy in WoD, but has gotten much worse.
The "lag" is an issues with every ebg and the brawl. The server simply can't handle this many people fighting at the same time. These issues already pop up when you do a world boss with 40 people.
They could always have changed their server technology and made it back how it used to be. This way of doing it may be the way it's done now but it's not fit for purpose. Any fun large scale pvp is dead.
