Ew, I hope that isn't the Heritage Armor, it's quite boring compared to the other Heritage sets.
Is it only 1 set? Looks only for cloth wearers. Wanted some mail BE mail set heritage gear.
That belf armor is so F#cking bad. Atrociously low res and low effort. Re-imagined for 0 reason. And only to look WAY worse. here are pics in comparison that we already have in game. https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/wowwiki/images/5/5d/Silvermoon_City_Guardian.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20070120021518Or an artistic version that is exactly reminicent = https://d1u5p3l4wpay3k.cloudfront.net/wowpedia/thumb/b/ba/Silvermoon_City_Guardians.jpg/300px-Silvermoon_City_Guardians.jpg?version=1be616b0b2ae5327a9115a2f4028bcc1God this is just pathetic. Not even in terms of resolution do they compare with the other ones. THIS ARMOR BETTER NOT....be heritageIts less shiny. Less glossy. Less golden. Less crimson red. The neck and emerald is off. THe sleeves are off. Instead of majestically strong golden and powerfully crimson red. With jewelry attached. Screw that ofc. -_- .... And all of it could be avoided.... if they just copied the design from 2007. And upped the graphics. So bad. RIP blood elves. If they overwrite all their city guards with this armor... hahaha. That'll be hilarious.
Okay thank God these aren't the heritage armor for belfs…. got scared for a second there, these are guard armor updates.... pls spellbreaker armor ftw!
Positive feedback if any wow dev were to read this ( prob wont ever but hey) https://d1u5p3l4wpay3k.cloudfront.net/wowpedia/thumb/e/e6/Spellbreaker.jpg/300px-Spellbreaker.jpg?version=dbf762a7c3b1e0fd726ec4d707f96512THAT IS THE HERITAGE ARMOR....that belves deserve. And if you make that. stop using legions generic assets. OVerly large weapons and armor with excessive polygon usage that makes it look way more cartoony than sharp and deadly. Or in this armors case. Rugged and bland without any shine or sense of metallic presence.
Why does Blizzard hate thin, sharp-looking swords? Why does every sword have to look like a big thick carved sharp rock? I loved the original Silvermoon Guardian's glaive because it looks thin and sharp and light. This thing looks really heavy and lame. Also, turn up the saturation on everything. Blizzard's modern-day dull color thing they love so much does not fit the blood elves. Also, give the set some bigger gloves. The lack of red/gold on the hands is really distracting. Also please give them the at-attention pose of normal Silvermoon Guardians. I really hope they don't replace every Silvermoon Guardian NPC with these. Those looked all disciplined and classy and stuff, while these just look like regular joe schmoe's walking around. Also, seeing people like "yay, simple design," have you ever seen Quel'thalas or any pre-Sundering Night Elf architecture? Simplicity shouldn't be a word to describe it with.Looking at this and comparing it to what Blizzard could have done with the Tier 21 Pally set where everything about it screamed blood elf if they just took their BElf-hating glasses off and didn't bend over backwards to give it two ugly colors (LFR and Normal), and go out of their way to deny Horde paladins a red/gold or red/black color set for PvP, instead opting for the iconic Horde color of brown when they gave Alliance blue/gold really grinds my gears. Look at the Tier 21 pally belt and picture that in red/gold with a green gem. That practically screams the various BE phoenix-ish insignias they have everywhere.Spice this up Blizzard, if this is what you're intending on giving us for the blood elf heritage set. My main recommendations are increase the color saturation and give it gloves, if you're not gonna make it a little more intricate like the BC Silvermoon Guardian gear. Also, just put in some original BC Silvermoon Guardian gear textures, glaive, and shield in the game for us.I spiced up the set a bit myself, check out how it looks and let me know which you like more and which you think is both a better set for blood elves, and which is a more faithful re-imagining of the Silvermoon Guardian look.Link includes the edit itself, a side-by-side with the original set, and a side-by-side with the Burning Crusade Silvermoon Guardian model: https://imgur.com/a/V48FI33
The armor looks sick , keep moving along. Bunch of vamps crying and ducking the life out of stuff they don’t dig .
NPCs shouldn't be wearing this armor in the flashback because Blood Elves did NOT exist when Arthas invaded Quel'thalas. High Elves didn't use red uniforms. If this is not the heritage armor, it's most likely a new armor for guard NPCs in Silvermoon, which may be associated with the speculated revamp of Quel'thalas that may or may not be coming as a Warfront in an upcoming patch.
Love the guards' new armor, but wish they would update Kael'thas' whole model instead of just adding firey balls.
That "guard" armor is so lame... it's a watered down version of the Spell Breaker armor.I'm fine with "basic" guard having that, but I still hope we'll see a real pimpin Spell Breaker armor in the end.
And... Bow from Hunter? no?
Hope this is NOT the heritage armor! I don’t want to run around in a skirt all the time. Nightborne have skirts too. Bleh.
The Shield Weapon combo looks very reminiscent of the High Elf gear in the LotR movie, but in Red and Gold instead of Silver and White
I hope this skirt garbage will never become Blood Elf Heritage armor. We have enough of this with Nightborne heritage armor, there's no need for more ugly skirts.
I lust love that armor <3 Hoping we'll get a revamped Silvermoon/Eversong Forest/Ghostlands while they're at it doing the warfront.
I surely hope that's not the heritage armor, if so It's a little disappointing...the robes from sunwell in BC look better than that...
