That's pretty cool.
I'm interested in how Blizzard will handle the visual feedback of this card. Usually it would transform in e.g. a Bloodfen Raptor, but then it's a Bloodfen Raptor (wich hasn't this transform effect). So how is it visible to me as the user to see that it's actually Shifter Zerus and not a normal Bloodfen Raptor?
Is this card going to just shift once, or multiple times?Because surely if it transforms into a minion, it stops from transforming since the card text won't remain.
It looks like it transforms at the beginning of each turn until it is played. It then stays in whatever minion it has transformed into that turn.
Lol I read #$%^ter Zeru
It looks so adorable. Want this as a plushie!
looks fun
I like the randomness of this. :3 Not gonna hunt for it or go out of my way to craft it, but if I got it in a booster I wouldn't be broken down about it. :)

It has a special glow on it and a tooltip if you mouse over it to remind you that it is Shifter Zerus."
So does it keep the 1 cost or will the cost transform to whatever the minion is? It will be awesome for tempo if it keeps the cost like some of the Old Gods Shaping spells are good tempo plays. Otherwise you might HAVE to leave it in your hand until it equals the MANA you are able to spend.
Interesting card - on the one hand, it isn't an auto-include simply due to the lack of mana reduction afforded on a card like Unstable Portal. The portal gives you a far wider range of minions that are good enough or better from it, simply due to the cost reduction (ie. getting Tauren Warrior off it is fine - it's usually garbage, but the 1 mana discount makes it a 2/3 for 2 with taunt and an enrage, so it's passable even if it's not great). On the other hand, it is a card that you can keep in the pocket until it rolls something decent. It's also a bit better if it can transform into minions of other classes, which I'm assuming it can. Most classes wouldn't mind playing something like Ethereal Conjurer if given the chance. Control warrior having the chance to play that card would be in Heaven. As someone that plays a lot of Dominion though, I imagine we're going to get funny clips of Zerus being the new "1 too expensive" situation. In Dominion, getting 7 currency is often annoying AF as generally there's only something decent to do at 6 or 8 money, so at 7 you're one off the 8 and wasting 1 over the 6. With Zerus, you're going to get situations like it turning into Ysera on turn 8, then turning into an Angry Chicken next turn. XD
This is certainly interesting. If you're looking for a more consistent, predictable, deck you would just put the best card you might wish to draw in, in the first place, instead of this one. On the other hand, this does let you get minions from other classes as well as, potentially, more than one of a legendary or more than two of some other key card if you have them in your deck anyway.Definitely more for the long game, though, I'd think. The longer it's in your hand the more chance it will turn into something useful. Aggro could be stuck with something that is too slow to play for some time and then never get to use it!
