Fury of the SunwellWorld of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade

The glorious fount of arcane energy known as the Sunwell empowered the high elves for millennia, until the death knight Arthas laid siege to the elven kingdom and corrupted its sacred energies. Seeing no other alternative, a band of survivors led by Prince Kael'thas destroyed the ancient fount. Over time the surviving elves fell prey to a crippling magical withdrawal.

Now, promising salvation for his people, Kael'thas has returned. Soon the Sunwell will shine once again, but whether the sacred fount will usher in deliverance or destruction remains to be seen.

New Fishing Daily Quests were added at Silmyr Lake outside Shattrath City. Baby crocolisks! Muckbreath, Toothy, Chuck, and Snarly became possible rewards.

New PvP Daily Quests were added for Halaa in Nagrand and the Spirit Towers in the Bone Wastes.

The whole server doin dailies and turning in supplies, racing to see which server unlocks the raid first. There was a website that kept track of all the servers progress and you could watch your server's progress. I miss those days, but with cross realm zones, don't think we'll ever see something like that again.Comment by XalonMGSuch a great patch that I have enjoyed all these years! I still spend plenty of time on the Isle of Quel'Danas. That is the beauty of WOW. There is the leveling experience, endgame experience and then theres going back with a max level character to enjoy all the previous xpac zones and activities!

It had a bug where you equip a piece of gear. Remove it. Then equip another piece in the same slot. The stat change from gear to gear somehow stacked. So people would just go to their bank. And swap gear for 10-15 minutes. And have like a million intel and spell power. Then world pvp all day. And 1 shot everyone and everything. Took awhile for Blizz to fix it. First they made it so when you hit a load screen it removed the stacking. Still the Sun well zone portal didnt have a loading screen lmao. So the 1 shots continued. One morning there was a boomkin just running around moonfiring everyone killing them instantly hahaha.
