We've updated our class guides with Raid Tips and Top Builds for the final raid tier of
Battle for Azeroth
: Ny'alotha, the Waking City. To go along with the detailed strategy guides written by FatbossTV, our class authors compiled tips, tricks, talent and essence recommendations for each and every encounter within the raid. In addition, all of our class guide pages have been revamped, reviewed, and updated for Season 4 to include new BiS lists from the new raid, Corruption information, new Azerite, Essence recommendations, updated rotations, and much more.
Ny'alotha Strategy Guides
Ny'alotha is a huge 12 boss raid with a lot to keep track of, but that's ok because our boss strategy guides cover the abilities, phase strategies, and role responsibilities in detail for each encounter... so you don't have to! They also include written tips, important mechanics with diagrams, images, and gifs to help you succeed in the new raid, as well as a video showcasing the encounters themselves.

, and have authored Normal, Heroic, Mythic Raid, and Dungeon guides throughout
Battle for Azeroth
. They include details for all raid difficulties, drawn from PTR testing and dungeon journal analysis, and will be updated with more tips and videos as players progress through the Waking City.
Specialization Tips and Top Builds
Boss guides are great, but some players just want to know what talents, gear, azerite, tricks they should use to have the best chance of success in the new raid, and we have you covered with our Ny'alotha Raid Tips pages. Each specialization has a page dedicated to optimizing its performance within the new raid, including talent recommendations, gear advice, and the Top Builds widget, courtesy of Warcraft Logs. Once players start defeating bosses in the new raid, the Top Builds widget will automatically compile talents and Azerite traits used by the top-performing players for each spec, giving you an idea of what most successful players are doing inside the raid.
We'll be revisiting these pages to add new tips and tricks as strategies are formed and once Mythic difficulty releases next week, so check back frequently! You can keep an eye out for changes and updates by checking the Changelog at the top of each page.
Once players start defeating bosses within Ny'alotha, the Top Builds widget will automatically update like this. Keep in mind that end of tier bosses and underrepresented specs may fill in slower than others!
You can also see top builds alongside our regular

Raid Tools and Analyzing Your Performance
There are many ways to getting better at raiding, and while understanding the encounter and your specialization's role within it is one of the most important ones, being able to review your performance will help you better understand what is happening, what went right, and what went wrong.
Logging is a powerful tool that allows you to make a record of everything that happened during an encounter.
uses that record to create analytical charts detailing the positioning, damage dealt and taken, who had which buffs and debuffs, even a full real-time replay of the entire encounter. Check out our full
Warcraft Logs Guide

is more personal. It uses the same Warcraft Logs report to create a detailed analysis of an individual player's performance, with less emphasis on what happened during the encounter and more tailored to improving that specific player's rotation, cooldown use, survivability, and role (tanking, healing, damage dealing).
