I mean, I kinda understand Taiwanese player's perspective. Taiwan IS INDEPENDENT country and they thank you are doing just fine. That is, until communist POS ccp leaves them alone. I wouldn't want to be a mindless yesman for the regime either. Here's hoping for the best for them!
Mainland chinese gamers ruin everything they come into contact with, they are aggressive, toxic, and generally don't care about the communities in games outside of their own groups. Twenty years of gaming and it's always that attitude we see in this screenshot. I have no idea why it's this way, but it is. Like almost a "colonialism" attitude, as some other commenters have inferred. It's bizarre.
