Same here, no new tabs
Is there a possibility to provide the feature to manually upload the LUA file containing the data instead via the client? I suspect the service of my Antivirus program, which cannot be stopped is the reason, why it stops uploading at 2%
If you're missing tabs after uploading, please send a copy of the file below to firstname.lastname@example.org
have interesting problem, my husband had the client and looter before i did and he logged into my main character once before i got the client and looter. Now that i have it, my main character's information will only update from his computer. All my other characters update correctly. It even says on my main characters page that it was uploaded by him. Any way to release this strange hold on my character from his account?
Hmm it's kinda weird, I do not have any +Wowhead_Looter.lua file in my folder C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\accname\SavedVariables. I installed the Wowhead client and it says to me ingame that all data is being collected. After I typed in the /wl collect command, it took all the recipes etc. Still, there is no LUA file in the above mentioned folder, only those of other addons. In the wowhead client, there only Shared data cache shown, but no Account-specific data. Any suggestions?
If anyone else is successful at uploading data but doesn't see extra tabs on their toon try this:-rename your WTF folder to something else e.g. WTF1-make sure that data inside realmslit.wtf isn't changed location : data/xxxx (depends on Ur language)should look like this: http://pastebin.com/m6849febd-start wow, disable all addons except wowhead looter and than type "/wl collect" ingame-shutdown wow and upload, than it should workmake sure that u delete newly created WTF folder and rename old one to WTF
It seems the display of some characters are screwy. While all of the characters show up in the profile's home, when selecting one, some of the show up and others don't.6 of the characters will show all the data. The others don't display ANY data - it just looks like a black character page with no data. Doesn't even display what character you're looking at. It seemed to work fine a couple days ago. Didn't have this trouble.Coreection: update! Now it's only 4 that will show.
i have a problem with this new feature :( my wowhead client uploads the data perfectly according to it, when i come to website and check my toon it dont has any quests, mounts or any of the new features :(
OK, same problem as many others. Downloaded the client and addon. The Client resides in my WOW folder (C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft), the Looter resides in my Addons folder (C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns). Launched the client from desktop shortcut, started Wow via the Client, chose a character, played a bit and typed in "/wl collect". It says it collected all my data from skills, talents, first aid, etc., but I never saw any "Completist data collected successfully." Nonetheless, when I quit the game, the client said I had stuff to upload, and I did it. The upload went to 100%. I logged onto WoWhead and on my user page, it shows a character tab. Opened the tab, and clicked on the character, but the next page is blank. It shows 4 tabs under the character, but none are populated. Now the previous screen *does* show level and talent distribution, but clicking that ALSO gives me a blank page. After reading through this, some people claim that running Chrome helped, so I got off Firefox (it was just updated the other day, so I'm sure it's the latest) and downloaded and started Chrome.Same thing, exactly. It shows the character as uploaded from the Client, but nothing is visible when clicking on the character.Any thoughts? Do I have the Client residing in the wrong folder? Do you have to create profiles for each character beforehand? What am I missing?
Will not upload data. every time i try it stops at a different %. fixing this soon i hope?
