Neltharion, better known as Deathwing, once called these caves home. Since his fall, the drogbar that once worshipped the great dragon built their capitol within this ancient lair. Right now it's the same shadow priest as always with an Hentai formComment by perculiaYou'll be in Voidform/gaining Insanity a decent amount of time (general casting in Voidform around the 6 min mark). Voidform is pretty new and distinctive, it could be that adding Voidform visuals as you cast the usual abilities was viewed as different enough by the artists. You'll also be getting Void Torrent and the Sphere of Insanity ball as well.

Those animations (even though most of them aren't new) are looking nice, void form is pretty insane (one of the tentacles coming out of his… ass?) but i am still kind of disappointed that spell casters still leave their weapons sheathed as they cast, making the staff or spell blade appear pretty useless.

I do hope affliction locks at least will hold their scythe while weaving spells from it, would be pretty sweet. Though I kind of doubt us spell casters will ever cast with our weapons out, it could at least be a check-boxable option for those of us who want it. Casting while holding a staff looks much better than letting it sit on your back while you do your business imo.Comment by moonlupAny chance we can see void form on the other races/genders? Also, how is the Method video any different from the one on Fatboss from 6 weeks ago? I mean aside from not being as entertaining. I get that Method is the top world guild for Mythic raids, but do we really need to see them in 5 man normals?Comment by TwingearThough I know that Voidform is gonna be up often, it doesn't change the fact that comparing this with the Fire Mage updated looks are basically... Hugely disappointing. There should be a bit done to make the base casts at least seem a bit better, especially considering that it is likely that during the eventual tuning phase of the Alpha, the time spent in Voidform will be cut down to make it seem more like a CD of sorts and less like a shadowy version of Inqusition, needing to be pressed every 20-30 secs or so.

There are some highlights, like the shadow orb spawned in front of you, but overall it does look like a bit more work on the basics that'd be needed to be cast so very often would help. For example, make the Mind Flay ray look a bit more up to date.
