I love the inconsistency on exits from the dungeons.Why is it so hard to put a portal out of the place at the end of ALL of them?
I would not call SBG and COS too easy as even those still need targeted nerfs (for example last 2 bosses in COS needs their group wide aoe nerfed by at least 30% and oneshot mechanics removed, trash in SBG needs some cooldowns on their casts etc).For a rest of overtuned dungeons they need MASSIVE across the board nerfs to bring them back in line with COS and SBG in terms of difficulty.
I like that rewards scale up to 20 but I think it's insane that they are spamable - where as raid you get 1 chance per boss. Would like to see further iteration on this.

well the DF dungeons are a lot harder than old dungeons. But ists OK. we are in week 3 and most ppl dont have 4pc Tier-Sets . And doingt wihtout set 80k dps dungeon (overall) is fine to play it in time (400 gs).its like bfa where trash needs to be played well because some skills insta kills ppl.if u grp doesnt interrupt/stun/vortex etc they dont deserve to play high keys and should wait for more gear. not everyone can and could play 20s in first weeks. BUT Heroic Raid should be buffed. The loot ist to good for the difficulty (easy) compared to m+.
You don't "Feel" the 10% dmg buff of thundering. You just know it's there. You DO feel the absolute trash mechanic stress it causes with all the extra BS in these dungeons while you're trying to clear.Regardless of what it looks like on paper, it doesn't feel good. And that only gets worse the higher your key level. But then it's also an expected damage gain when you're trying to beat the timer...Def not one of the better affixes we've seen. Especially/mainly with this absolute trashbag dungeon set.P.S. - Every one of these bosses is overtuned and if there aren't changes today it'll be a completely dead week for pugs.
Dragonflight was pretty fun for the first few weeks...but now that we're in the grind stage, it is looking more like an unpolished turd than a fun game I want to log into every day.Motivation to level up professions? No point, every item seems to be 2-5x cheaper to buy than to craft.Motivation to grind rep? Not much worth unlocking. Ilvl of rep items are too low to be worth the effort. Why do these grinds take so long if the rewards are only good for fresh alts?LFR still on just 3 of the bosses? In fact, why are mythic+ spammable, but normal-mythic0 not spammable? Does anyone even review these policies?Mythic+ experience is just not great for me this season. I don't know if it is because the loot table seems bugged or what(For instance, 75% of the time I get an offhand on my destro warlock.) For sure NOT interested in the timewalking dungeons. We've been playing them for how many years? Why would we want to play them instead of, oh I don't know, the new dungeons? Like the article says, the mythic+ dungeon balance is in a sad state. Knowing the tier forge is going to be unlocked in a couple weeks, it feels like I'm just wasting my time logging in. The reward for the amount of time spent on activities including professions, dungeons, rep grinds don't feel worth it. At this point I'm just logging in once a week for the guild raid. Mythic+ feels like a waste of time this season.
I’ve really come to enjoy this season. I think a few bosses need to be toned down for sure, but otherwise am happy with the overall pool. Resto Druid has been a blast for keys but it seems like other healers could use some buffs.
Compare doing a 17 to a heroic raid as they both offer 402 gear. The difference is insane in difficulty.
Tbh, thundering is not bad, is just kinda of meh.Compare it to SL seasonals: Prideful had lot of problems, way more intrusive than affixes usually need to be. You needed to use dps cooldowns to kill it fast enough or hold those cd's and end up wasting heal cds. It was hard to do it with packs on 20+ so you ended doing this solo mob in the middle of an AoE content, which doesn't really feel good. Tormented was honestly dumb. It was not really challenging, but took your time/route and rewards were lame.Encrypted is the GOAT. God, how i loved it.Shrouded was kinda on thundering level. Shrouded gave your better buffs, but took more of your time, while thundering give a weaker buff, but you dont need to waste too much time thinking about it.Honestly, thundering might be a good season 1 affix, with new talent trees and dungeons, a non-intrusive affix is justified.
I dont think dungeons need many nerfs. Just some timer adjustments. The highest key I did was a 19 Jade temple with fortified, volcanic, sanguin and we almost even timed it with 10 deaths. Im healing and I can say as long as everybody understands what to interrupt and what to pay attention to, its totally fine - and thats how a 19 should feel at the moment. You shouldnt time it with lots of mistakes and deaths. I personally really like what blizzard have done with the scaling, its a longer lasting feeling of progress and rewards. Imagine 15 is highest vault key, I would already be done running 15s where you can die 40 times and afk during boss fights on fortified weeks. Obviously cos and especially sbg are too free, but I think yolu should just lower the timer of sbg, and...remove cos because of all the profession gimmicks etc
Its super clear thundering is a result of a change in design philosophy from the devs. Its boring, you are only going to play around it in organized high keys. In PUGs you essentially dont have to worry about it because everyone insta clears anyway so its just boring through and through unless youre doing high 15+ organized keys. Feels lame to me if you stack it up with literally another other seasonal affix. I mean infested was even better in regard to making you change how you do a pull or something, and thats still unliterally hated by most players.

SBG definitely feels easier to heal than all of the other high M+ dungeons because pretty much all the damage is either negligible or easily avoidable. TNO is kinda easy too though the final trash skip tends to go wrong in pugs and that ruins the key in the end.COS mostly easy. HOV is ok.AA is ok too as long as pugs know what to do. TAV is ok, but feels somewhat harder than most of the other dungeons. TOTJS bosses are easy but the trash mobs (sha and elemental) are way too hard for pugs to interrupt/dodge, resulting in almost instant deaths damage output as well. RLP feels too hard compared to all the other dungeons. Trash mobs (elementals specifically) do unforgivably much damage, as do the bosses compared to bosses from other dungeons.
Thundering is garbage and the devs are incompetent but what else is new, SSDD
I just don't think they put in enough time to thundering when considering these dungeons. Too many unlucky stacks of mechanics i.e you get thundering in nokhud storm elemental or the 2 centaurs and you just got targetted with the tornados on everyone. These things, feel bad. Especially if you can't do decent damage on the move. So it's like, is it really a 30% damage buff for 15 seconds if people are running around panicking? Just feels counterintuitive alongside some of the dungeon difficulty. I feel like there's 4 keys that are reasonable on most high difficulties, SBG, Algethar, Jade Temple, CoS. The other 4 can go F themselves. HoV isn't super terrible, it's just kinda tight in higher keys imo.Just hope the next season has a better foundation for m+ but that's never the case and won't be if they remix 4 more dungeons.
