Icecrown is for me the best zone because it links me deeply with WCIII The Frozen Throne, and I also feel all the power and the might of the Scourge.Icecrown was a zone where I would enjoy flying just for the seeing, and doing epic quest lines.... All of this lead to the Lich King himsel!
For me Karazhan is the best zone. Great music and I have cool memories of that zone. All my favourite things in wow are pritty much related to tbc.

I love Mount Hyjal because i love how deeply it interacts with the lore of warcraft. and to see all those demigods/gods come back (Aviana being my favorite because she sounded pretty awesome in the book).
My favorite zone is Storm peaks because i really like the quest lines there and it was fun to quest there
I find that I truly enjoy Nagrand. The atmosphere of the zone reminds me of where I grew up; albeit without the floating chunks of earth. The questlines are also very interesting and full of lore.
My favorite zone was the Plaguelands, more specifically the Eastern Plaguelands, before the shattering. I like the lore there, and not to forget; the undeads! On another note, it was in that very zone I ran into some guys whom I later got into guild with which continued for several years. So yeah, it left me a good feeling :)
Pre-Cataclysm Dun Morogh, why?I was only a little gnome when I entered the big world of warcraft, I loved the landscape, the music, everything :OIt was there that I met my first in game friend, a gnome female trying to level too.I got my first mount ever and fished for hours (okay maybe minutes) when I finally found out about professions.I could go on about the awesomeness of Dun Morogh but I will not, for it needn't to be explained more.
My favorite zone would have to be Western Plaguelands after The Shattering. I like it the mostly mainly because of the quests. The new Andorhal quests are easy (Araj >_<), and the fighting between Thassarian and Koltira are always amusing. In addition to that, at the Mender's Stead, a friendly troll druid, Zen'Kiki, always makes me come back to WPL when I'm leveling a new character. :) Questing with him is always funny with his shapeshifting fails.
My Favorite Zone is the Ghostlands. I leveled there so nicely , i love the way its almost dreamy and i made alot of good friends there. It may not be a high level place but it makes you feel good because you know you are getting closer to the top. The quests are also awesome there, all different yet similar.
Mount hyjal for me, great story and history, good looking and ofcourse terrorpene, the lava turtle :)
My new favorite is The Lost Isles, the goblin starting zone. The entire questline is just epic. not to mention your level 2 goblin driving around in a car with your friends. I think it is just a great storyline that plays out really well. Also the quest rewards are pretty awesome too (I'm looking at you Best. Bracers. Ever.), a lot of Blizz humor in there.
