That cost, holy #$%^. But it seems if you clear the entire place each day you should be able to get a new piece each couple of days, not bad for gear catch up for alts.
at least some incentive to continue playing for most casual ones of us, and for alts maybe too.
This is more of a gapfiller than a gearing up tool. You do rares, m+, raids and whatever slot you didnt get anything, you can fill that slot.Giving everyone 246 gear from the start would be kind of too fast. People would also complain about having nothing to do as a casual solo player.
Another patch with no titanforging is another patch wasted. And don't forget the rolls.

i was on the ptr and a 242 ilvl helm dropped 4 me. so this a bit low. if rares can drop ^&*! with ilvl 242.
Would be nice if you could buy a thing once you're exalted to make them BOA so you can look after alts easier
I dont know, but it there a new artstyle. It looks so "clear" and "washed". So... boring....If i look at the plate set and compare it with a rather ugly set from MoP (a blue one) Warmongering Combatant's Battlegear, the one from MoP looks like it was made with love and so many minor details. The new one looks "good" from an art perspective (i guess... i find them ugly AF) but they dont have any details.An rather unfair comparison would be an old T set like 9 or 10. But if you ask me, the quality of a game should increase, so tsets from then should be blues now from a visual perspective. Like.... You grow with the game, but at blizzard it's the other way around it seems.
The cloth gear looks a little scruffy compared to the other sets. Frayed bits on the chest and stains on the knees. Hobo chic or something?
cloth and leather set looks terrible! I do however like the plate set mainly due to the helm.

Can these get upgraded like Korthia gear? In korthia you could eventually get 233 (aka mythic+13). If the ilvl continues as previous patches then 246 is equal to M+5 and also not BoA...So far this patch seems worse for alts and casuals than 9.1 or am i missing something?
Some combo of 10-20 chests and 10-20 rares could get you a piece a day, or every other day depending on slot price.That isn’t bad for “free gear.” Yes I know it takes time but if I have my computer on whole I work I can tag rares on undergeared alts and get caught up
