How to Unlock Sarge Mount in Hearthstone Mercenaries

Start Hearthstone and click on the Mercenaries entry in the starting menu.

Complete the tutorial by beating all five introductory encounters.

Collect your rewards and move on to the Village screen.

Build your first free building, the Tavern, by visiting the Workshop. The Tavern represents your mercenary collection.

Enter the Tavern and upgrade your mercenaries if possible.

Return to the Village and build your next free building, the Campfire, that serves as a Bounty board.

As your last free building, construct the Travel Point which is needed for transportation to your Bounty locations.

Enter the Travel Point and select the Normal "The Barrens" Bounty.

Select and choose the Level 4 "Ferocious Quilboar" Bounty.

Select, choose, and lock in your Starting Party.

As soon as you've sent your mercenaries on their first adventure, a "The Sarge's Tale Mount" achievement screen will appear.

In World of Warcraft, Sarge's Tale will be available in your Mount Journal as an unopened present.

Unwrap the present to unlock the Sarge's Tale mount!

Yes, Hearthstone is free to play, there is no requirement to make any financial purchases at all if you don't want to! Just like you don't have to make any additional purchases in WoW if you don't want to! Isn't it great how freedom of choice works? Yep, that's right, it's completely your choice whether to spend your money on anything from Blizzard! Shocking isn't it?

If you don't want to pay any money for anything from Blizzard then don't! It really is that simple! It's your choice to make, no-one is forcing you to spend your money on anything from Blizzard, same as no-one is forcing you to play Blizzard games! If you have such a problem with the way that Blizzard are trying to operate their business that you have to complain about it every chance you get then maybe it's time for you to just walk away and quit playing Blizzard games!

Blizzard is a business and as such they need to earn money to stay in business. Yeah I know that's an amazing revelation! But if you don't like it then there are plenty of other MMO's available to play, the vast majority of which are "free-to-play", though they all have in-game stores that sell all sorts of things! Even FFXIV has a seperate store that sells mounts, minions, costumes, weapons, dyes and a whole load of other stuff!Comment by connor1970It is a shame that Sarge doesn't fly. This will boost active players sheet for a dying game onto another...Comment by OlsofaI just don't get why they make ground-only mounts anymore. Like other comments says, all of Final Fantasy XIVs mounts can fly. If its for the reason that Squeakers is the same model and it would "deminish" the value of the mount because its a store mount is just stupid. I just hope its an oversight and it will be able to fly. Why would it then have a mount special that literally makes it fly? I will still use it. Its gorgeous looking. But not as much.
