My dwarf paladin had a cool back story. as a child living in loch mordan my dwarfs family was killed by raiding orcs. he barely escaped the burning homestead. The dwarf ran away into the mountains. He eventually made to a human monastery deep within the redridge mountains. He was brought up their to become a monk. Then the same Orc clan attacked his new home and his mentor Rothen. in a fury he called upon the light and smited down the orcish leader. With the death fo their leader the orcs ran. The dwarf then dedicated himself to fighting for the light and was trained as a paladin to seek peace with his past by righting the future

I'm a Death Knight. My character was a noble hero of the Alliance, only to die and be brought back by the Lich King, only to find out the Lich King doesn't give a $&*@ about her and other Death Knights.Of course I'm bitter. That Borean Marmot must die!
i don't really care about being violent i don't slaughter every critter or beast i see (except those turkeys for the achievement). but for those unfortunate souls who have fallen by my blade (not a role player just made that up off the top of my head) i do so because i have to not because i want to (well that sheep had it coming)
Holy Necro Post, Batman!Since this topic seems timeless, however, I will contribute. I like to think of my characters using the, probably outdated, two-axis alignment.Lawful Evil | Lawful Neutral | Lawful Good----------------------------------------------Neutral Evil | True Neutral | Neutral Good----------------------------------------------Chaotic Evil | Chaotic Neutral | Chaotic GoodMy Druid, I like to consider, is True Neutral. He acts without thought of morals. If attacked, he will defend. If someone asks to him to do something, he will do it if the pay is right. My DK is Neutral Evil. He will do whatever benefits him the most in any given situation. My Mage is Chaotic Neutral. He does what ever strikes his fancy regardless of possible consequences.
