I think I get where the devs are going with this, eventually we'll get a mount that'll pretty much be the one we use for Dragonriding, but not limited by the system, pretty much like how we have a Non-Combat Pocopoc pet and the one we use for Zereth Mortis stuff
Hm...adding normal flight to DF zones sounds to me like an admission that Dragonriding isn't as 'good'. Otherwise there wouldn't be much point to once again have it be timegated or even add it at all, right?
Regular flying has to be removed outright. All new mounts should have the new flying with abilities.
Was not hard to tell, the return of flying is one of the most cheered content in an expansion after the release itself.I am more of the chill type player(maybe its the age 50 this year), i hope dragonflying does not break my gaming experience in wow, but i pray for the best and look forward.
Remove flying from WoW, it's killing the game. The moment players can fly is the moment the zone dies out.Dragon Riding could be a very nice middle-ground, but that's providing players cannot just use the easymode, braindead system instead.
Because we all want to become glider pilots.Nevermind motion sickness, nevermind fear of heights, nevermind physical limitations (carpal tunnel and nerve damage to the hands and fingers).If the systems didn't make me want to puke (literally) and feel like getting to the enjoyable parts of the game requires hours of savagely punching myself in the tender bits ... it just wouldn't be WoW.I mean, the literally HUNDREDS of dollars spent on "permanent flying mounts" ...EARNING (and then in many cases BUYING with gold) the right to fly ...The first time (BC). the second time (Northrend), the third time (Cataclysm ... most zones anyway), the fourth time (Pandaria), the fifth time (WoD), the sixth time (Legion, dear gods), the seventh time (BfA), the eighth time (Shadowlands) and yay the TENTH TIME (Shadowlands, one extra zone) ...... well, OF COURSE we haven't unlocked flying in the new zones. But never fear we will unlock flying once again ... or maybe twice ... depending on if we add more zones in the same expansion and still can't figure out zone-design to account for 3d travel, despite doing it for a decade and a half now.Fun.

It doesn’t matter what Blizz does, they’re screwed if they do and screwed if they don’t. People just seem to enjoy complaining for the sake of complaining without even experiencing a system yet. This is why I rarely read the forums, the only reason I’m reading this one is that I was curious how much whining and moaning people were doing, and you fulfilled my every expectation.
I have no idea why are people triggered that Blizzard will give people the choice to use Dragonriding or use the normal flying. Just use dragonriding then if you prefer it, I personally want a choice there, which is what should be done.

I literally don't get this statement, We're always restricted at the beginning of expansions, and I don't see how a flying dragon mount with imho a better system is more restrictive than the old flying system, you're still gonna be attacked by mobs in the air.
