Quick Join Update

With the release of patch 7.1, we added Quick Join for those looking to join their friends in content queues. We’ve also recently turned on “toasts” for when your friends join a queue. These toasts will appear in your chat letting you know when they are taking on content that you are eligible to join them in.

It was already rare... now I doubt I'll ever see it as I haven't gotten a Kirin Tor emissary quest in weeks (even before 7.1!).Comment by LyssaWoWWatched the guide. Not saying it's needed, but it happens, so don't be too surprised.
Also, Fatboss can be pretty useful for many people. If they don't do a good job for you in describing the fight(s), you can always check someone else out, or maybe read wowhead's guides for bosses. If you have a large friends list or you're in a large guild it's nearly non-stop and it's eroding my will to live.
I know there's an addon around that helps but a simple enable/disable option from you would have been sensible.Comment by AarkanAll these posts complaining about seeing quick join toasts are really hurting my self esteem... I'm sure some people will like it, but like everything, some people don't, and it needs an option to turn it off.Comment by jaq1010I rarely watch video guides anyway because they tend to be (1) someone explaining the fight really fast trying to be cool and Youtube Edgy and (2) I prefer to read guides and then see the fight myself since the video is also usually "a great view of a busy as hell UI" and I can't tell squat.

That being said, there ARE better guides out there than this one.Comment by perculiaWe're highlighting Fatboss guides because they took over Wowhead guides with short notice after our past writer was hired by Blizzard. They have a track record of getting helpful guides up in a timely fashion, with lots of beta/ptr testing, so we thought they were a great fit.
