Jesus I took like nothing away from this. It looks like the 2nd graph is mislabeled as being SoD? And it uses 100th percentile - the ranks that come from perfect RNG, perfect kill time, and every external dps CD in the raid. Sure "balance druid are also seeing great success" when you only look at the parses where the literal stars align and the boss dies exactly after the 2nd or 3rd use of CDs

Using max data has got to be a joke. The one top log for every spec which got all the externals is definitely the way to compare :^) Whoever wrote this is either trolling or doesn't understand what max actually is
Why would you use MAX instead of a high percentile? Your analysis is based entirely on the highest parse per class. You shouldn't ignore consistency when discussing DPS balance. A class that is super RNG will look great when you use MAX, but then you find that it can, on average, perform like absolute dog @#$%. You know, like balance druid. Let's also not ignore the fact that the MAX graph is entirely based on Chinese guilds who love to stack externals and change strats for parsing.

I think everyone can agree that they need to balance more frequently. Anyone saying they shouldn't continue to balance, even 3 months into the tier because "players invested 3 months into their character" is insane. It doesn't have to be drastic changes, but there's 0 reason for destro/surv to exist in their current state.
A few sentences in, and I already want to slap this person. Maybe, just maybe, people have to keep bringing up balance because you shouldn't have 10-20 classes with only a few being viable. Then again, you also shouldn't switch the raid topic. I thought this was going to be about the Sepulcher of the First Ones, not the Sanctum of Dominion. That's assuming it's not a joke post, though.
Lot of people just skimmed this and didn’t actually read the comparison that was made between top performing specs in SoD and then the transition into Sepulcher w/ tier sets and double legendaries. The comments on this are a fantastic sample of how few people in this community actually think about class balance, and how many people just whine about their class not being overpowered. Great article on many levels. For those still complaining, if you have an issue with logic, maybe learn how to use critical thinking.
Look at the elitists defending blizz's horrible class balance with "its a nice change up" when never fully coming out to say that there is no less then 29% difference in balancing.

I do feel one huge reason we have this class and spec balance, has to do with the talent trees in general, becuse as it is now, every spec has their own skills, and some even 4 of them.now had it been one tree for all specs, where you have to choose what route you take, like you wana be a tank, you take most of the tank talents, offcourse, but you can also pic a sightly less tanky spec and go for more dmg, offcourse there would always be the fotm talents to take, that we can not get away with.but at same time who would not want to play a hunter with 2 pets, and aimed shot or even explosive shot instead of what we have now, giving people more choises, have one talent tree only, and give us more points to use, that we can fiddle arround, it might not make every class the best, but you would se way more different choises and talents, what could make pvp realy fun, becuse you never know what that warrior whit a shield will have, is he a tank or is he a pure dps with a shiled smashing you in.
