Fury Incarnate PTR Update: This week, the latest Fury Incarnate 10.1.7 PTR development notes were posted, which included new Night Elf customizations and some updates to the upcoming Ping System.

WoW Classic

Actions Against Exploitative Accounts: The latest upcoming on these ongoing actions was posted on Monday and said Blizzard took 116,921 actions against exploitative accounts in July.

Botters have straight up said the way Blizzard approach botting is inconsequential to them. Who it is that they actioned I have no idea, but the most clear and obvious exploiters are all still active as ever. Useless update that number means nothing whatsoever.

How hard is it for one single person at Blizzard to just log onto the game server and see this person fly hacking then ban them on the spot? There is no special detection needed and no A/B testing they can do to counteract what you can see clear as day. The gold and real life cash they made will more than make up for the fact that they are losing accounts.

When ban waves happen weekly only then wil this actually have an impact. Until then it is business as usualy since these ban waves dont come often enough. They know this and are hoping you the player sees their post and think they are doing something to combat abuse.

Blizzard benefits from these ban waves but they cant do them often enough or they will lose the people runnin the bots permanently. This is all smoke screen designed to make you think they are actually doing something.

How many years did you read that they took abuse of the que's fillwed with WTS ads "very seriously". So seriously they took it that it took them about SIX or more YEARS to finally start doign something about it.

End of legion is when the WTS ads in the ques appeared. By BfA the que's were stacked several dozen with more WTS ads than actual runs at any time of the day. THis continued into SL.
