Well, let's hope that is true, because we already have a N'zoth / Sauron cinematic, and it seems to Blizzard it is not the first time that it has a tendency to use a copy + paste in another new cinematic.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vdOs3tCw0c
Wow half of this comment section is people getting butthurt over one frame of a video, people really like to complain don't they
you guys need to get a lifeover analyzing every second of a short downvote away
Being overly critical over an art team is pretty pathetic. Animation teams reuse and recycle animation all the effing time..because if it works it works. You can call it lazy all you want but its a time saver, as I am sure its taxing on the art teams working from home and likely creating the art for other projects. Here are some links of bigger and more profitable companies that do it....https://disney.fandom.com/wiki/List_of_recycled_animation_in_Disney_movieshttps://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/RecycledAnimation]Educate yourselves....Side note: If you look at the wasteland picture, you can see the desolate waste is littered with debris and remnants of tree stumps...as well as a hill in distance from the stronghold....which when you look at the Afterlives video, you see the hill and the trees kind of at the right distance from a first-person perspective in the stronghold. Also, Demons that die return to the Twisting Nether, correct...but demons that die in the twisting nether die for good...which could indicate...their souls could go to the Shadowlands...
Clickbait articles like this are the sole reason I use adblock for this website. It doesn't pay to stir up BS.
To everyone !@#$%ing and moaning about click bait , it's just a re-used asset etc etc. It's now been confirmed it was intentional and that they were stealing a legion map. So like. Git gud? Lmao. Y'all have to eat your words now. Looks like everyone who speculated wasn't so dumb after all :))))
To reiterate. Brian Horn. The cinematic supervisor of Blizzard entertainment. Has confirmed. It was intentional and that they were stealing a legion map. :)))))
Well... Blizzard did retcon the origin of both the Helm of Domination and Frostmourne to have come from "The Runecarver." In the Bastion video, we learn that the runes on Frostmourne are from Maw magic. With the domination of the legion unfolding over untold millennia, I am sure the Legion has been to Shadowlands multiple times. Otherwise, why would they even need an army to protect the lands? Why would these houses based on conquest and strength join together to defeat external enemies?Though, Blizzard continually reuses the same tropes and artwork. They have for many years.
Don't think it's really that big of a deal. Reusing assets is normal practice everywhere else. And it fit the theme of what was happening. They look so much like the Maldraxxus guards.
There's literally a camp in Maldraxxus with a monument to their victory over the burning legion btw
Blizzard reuses old content to present it as something new? ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE!
