People glorify the old xpac community but they clearly forgot guild dramas as well as ostracism and stigmas bad players would get. These days you don't even have to stumble upon idiots you dislike on your server or even your guild. You can play with anyone. The server community is a double-edged sword lmao.
Theres also less flight masters in classic they added a bunch i think it was cata. Some zones only had 1 or 2 masters and they were slow some were like take the flight path then get up make and eat dinner then come back to the game.
*less than a minute in, hears how LFD killed communities* *clicks off*Since Wrath is now a decade old, sit down and let me tell you folks some facts. The idea that LFD murdered server communities and that before that everyone lived in a self policing server where the bads were blacklisted away and everyone was on their best behavior? Is largely an invention of the forums and rose colored glasses. No, the truth was, servers were run by a tyranny of guilds who determined who ran what and who did what, and if your group happened to have a toxic member of one of those guilds? You grinned and bore it. That DPS or heals wasn't gonna see squat for repercussions if they behaved in a bad way, because they were a Big Deal Raider. I remember more than once as late as 3.2 getting a jerk tank from a big guild and being told "ugh, just ignore it til the dungeon is done." There's little or no difference between the modern WoW community and what it was like pre-3.3; the difference was, back then you sat in a capital city spamming LFG for a heroic all day hoping someone from the Big Guilds noticed. Here endeth the lesson.
Well a very good video but... all the "bad" things (in our time) was showed.Where are the frienship we had on that time? the helping low ppeple while leveling? The joy when a small guild kill a final boss on raid dungeons? gathering and crafting itens for our guild members and sometimes make a good profit selling to the "prof" guilds like method...I'm don't miss many of things in vanilla but was fun and I never forget the day I've reached 60... never felt the same after that... or when I got enough money to buy the best horse before BC (thanks my skinning skill at the time and all sold to method in Sylvanas :))But I really miss the friendship, the importance guilds had and the joy to help the other players in game... and all this without dpend tons of gold to help in a quest...Those were the days of an excellent game community
