Well... This blue trim is on her left arm.
WTH is Ursula you people keep talking about?
Oh Lady Ashvane, "You poor unfortunate soul!"
Perfectly grasped the fundamental issue with BfA plots.
The fundamental issue with people is not understanding what is OUR (the characters, the players, the "champion", or whatever else you consider your toon to be) role in the tale of World of Warcraft.First, we are an Adventurer, and we are told as much by many NPCs throughout the years. We are not "in SI:7, in Kings Guard, in Gobsquad, in Deathguard, or any other established faction force or team. We could relate our role in our faction to IRL if we had someone who goes around fighting for various goals for the thrill of the Adventure, but we are not the army of a country, we are not the police, we are not the Bureau of Intelligence, or a Federal Police. We are just someone well stronger than the members of such organizations, akin to the strongest powers, and they rely on us ASKING us to do things for them, but we are not to have a stake in the fight we are participating. You know as much because you often will be asked by someone to undermine your faction effort, or to do things they never asked, sanctioned or even allowed members of the established forces to do. We are more or less a loose cannon mercenary that happens to not all out do what all factions ask, but we also not part of the chain of command of the organizations of our factions. That is why you build reputations rather than "working into the chain of command of a given faction".And that is why we do a lot of things that would be contradictory or dumb otherwise. We are told that a lot.More recently in BfA for example, if you read the novels and listen to people, a lot of what happened is dealt far from the "players", and even in many cases people avoid talking about stuff when you are around. Some go all out rude and say "lets talk somewhere else where there are no intruders", and you are the only one around.I am sorry if for many people that role makes them feel a bit "sad", but that is clearly your role as a player in World of Warcraft, and novels also tells us as much, because of course, everything must happen with NPCs and we are just there to lend a hand as a trustworthy adventure, but an adventurer nevertheless. It is amazing the trust people actually put on us participating in some stuff actually, but still, we are just that, adventurers.
