Not sure if Intangible Presence nerf was necesary but that nerfs to wikked was nice, also the rest of the dung may need some more but now fells more ok
A bit late considering how short S4 is. But still for the best.
I tried a 19 lower this week. Got to Wikket. Wiped twice. Didn't step foot in that dungeon again for the rest of the week...This got nerfed over 30% and some people were acting like there weren't problems. "Skill issue".
They need to nerf stuff like Shared Suffering and Maiden's dot after you step in a pool to break Repentance. Intangible Presence was already a dead mechanic if you used the WA to shine a person's frame when they had it.
Westfall story dancers still spawn explosive orbs even after killing them. Why dont they change that?
The issue with Galindre & Elfyra is that the notification she is casting Magic Magnificent happens literally one second before you blow up from it & the tooltip shows the ability is supposed to be a 5 second cast lol... Not really fixing the right thing at all here.
I feel like people saying the WA made Intangible Presence a dead mechanic need to actually stop and think a second. Yes, you're absolutely right that it did... If everyone in the group has it. Imagine you're someone coming back for Dragonflight, haven't run Lower Kara since Legion, if ever. Maybe you mention it's your first time, maybe you don't. But even if you, people have been running this dungeon for long enough that they probably just forget about the WA. You get to Attumen, the WA doesn't work, and you wipe. Everyone gets pissed, yelling, "gg noob" gets thrown out and someone rage quits the key.The fact of the matter is that a WA being a barrier for entry to a dungeon is not good. It's been happening in raids (to the distress of many pugs), but in keys it's an even weirder phenomenon because someone can run a dungeon enough in a week that it quickly becomes ingrained in them and as a result often become more irritated by people not knowing mechanics more quickly. In the end, Blizzard had 2 options: disable the WA or delete the mechanic. But considering they've allowed far more intricate WAs in the past, deleting the mechanic was the safest way to go
As soon as a WA renders something a dead mechanic blizz should remove it. There's zero fun in watching a chat bubble tell you to dispell someone now, you may as well be a bot at that point. I think the presence removal is good cause it added nothing to the encounter with the WA anyway for may as well remove it.
The nerfs on Wikket was necessary, but everything 35-50% seems.. excessive. The biggest problem this week was explosive, not the mechanics themselves imo. But Attumen? I don't get it. Even on tyrannical weeks (and even before the last nerf of the debuff) you can just heal through the whole debuff without much of a sweat if you don't know who to dispel, like it barely does any damage anymore? This is turning into a joke. As a healer I feel I'm heading towards unemployment at this rate.
Not sure if Blizzard is living in the same reality as the rest of us. Nerf %^&* that is no problem but let the explosive-o-rama on westfall story continue LOL......
REMOVE EXPLOSIONS TO SPAWN BY BOSS ENCOUNTER MOBS, that is the boss itself and any adds that are part of the encounter.King Gobbamak in Junk Yard is another example of how terrible that fight gets with explosives. And I remember Blizz actually REMOVED those explosions in a hotfix back in BfA but it clearly shows how bad of a job they did with these old dungeons to add into season 4 without thinking much at all.Edit:- Here's after some searching!https://www.wowhead.com/news/hotfixes-for-february-11-king-gobbamak-and-explosives-i-pitied-the-fool-311138#news-post-311138Back in 11th Feb 2020
They need to nerf the amount of trash in lower. There is entirely way too much trash
What about explosives during the Westside story event? That was the real challenge for eu last week. The other nerfs are welcome as well. Given that some people don't use weak aura and some things still hit unproportionaly hard
