As of patch 2.2, Druids will not be able to eat this item while shapeshifted. A gross imbalance that has been overlooked by Blizzard for far too long is finally remedied.

I needed a bunch of these for cooking recipes, so I tracked down Bimble Longberry in Ironforge. She no longer carries these, only higher level fruits.

If I remember correctly, this was to be used with Strider Meat to make Strider Stew. Apparently, it is no longer needed, kind of like Mild Spices are no longer needed to make Spiced Wolf Meat, or Herb Baked Egg. Although I get it's most likely for convenience and to make lvling easier, I'd rather go out of my way to buy it. How are you supposed to make an Herb Baked Egg with no herbs, or Spiced Wolf Meat with no Spice? And besides, I have all these extra Mild Spices on my alts after the patch that I can't even sell. Talk about irony for convenience.

Ok, why are these going for over 2,000g? Someone on my server was asking over 600g and I thought he was nuts...then I came to Wowhead. Geez!
