I havent picked up a single one of these, even after doing all the events. Anyone else experiencing this?

Drop chances for the cosmetics don't seem to be to bad. Farmed for 2-3 hours and got all cosmetics (the green ones).

But i would suggest doing it now while events are coming up all the time. I imagine it could be harder later in the expansion with less people and you would have to spend all the reccources yourself to spawn the events.

These come from killing the three rares in the goblin excavation site events on the Siren Isle:

/way 62, 74 Gravesludge at the Drain
/way 44, 56 Stalagnarok at Shuddering Hollow
/way 32, 65 Nerathor at Drowned Lair

In order to trigger these events, you or other players need to contribute Flame-Blessed Iron to the Command Map at: /way 69, 43
You can get Flame-Blessed Iron from killing mobs, looting treasures, and doing weekly quests. Five iron gives about 3% toward the progress bar.
There is short time between when an event occurred and when it can be contributed to again, but you can generally spam them for rewards.

After you get all the gems for the ring this seems to be the reward instead for the weekly to unlock the champion track weekly reward in the storm phase. Still rewarded me 14 flame blessed iron, which seems.......rubbish to be honest. The weekly one should be buffed massively as a result.

Has anyone ever gotten a duplicate copy of one of the cosmetic items from this chest after having already learned them all? I am absolutely kicking myself for learning the polearm mop right away and not getting a second copy first so my fel guard could hold it. I think I'm SOL now...

Pre-reqs:
1. have the ring (doesn't need to be equipped...this is mainly so the rare bosses will drop the gems for you first)
2. As far as I can tell the only real pre-reqs for these to start dropping is once you've gotten all the citrine gems for the rings that these rares will drop
***You do NOT need to obtain ALL the gems as some are from other sources nor have the ring maxed out..only the gems from these bosses/rares

Drop from killing the rare elite bosses in the 3 "events/"major excavations""
- shuddering hollow
- the drain
- the drowned lair

Can repeat the bosses on alts or your main same day for more boxes/drops

Drops of note
1. A little bit of flame blessed iron (10-15)
2. overflowing bag of iron (500+ flame blessed iron) SUPER rare but got one from this
3. Drops the "green" learn on use cosmetics
- Please note that you'll only obtain one of each and then not obtain any more. They will NOT drop duplicates
4. They will drop the epic warbound armor and weapons
- You can get duplicates of these
- You can obtain these from the boxes, the event/excavation mobs themselves, other rares on the isles or the vendor.
***I like to use the boxes as an extra chance at obtaining these epics so i dont have to use as much iron buying everything for xmog purposes from the vendors
- vendor: argarom at the flotsam shoal camp on the isle sells these same epics.

I highly recommend doing these major excavations and getting the boxes asap as it will become harder to do as new content is released (especially after the next xpac).
You can still do it but you'll have to be farming and using the iron yourself which will be a lot of wasted iron when right now you dont even have to drop any iron usually for these to pop up because others are.
