This has a low chance of being placed directly in your bags when eating (and gaining/refreshing the well fed buff) anywhere within Zereth Mortis, or the Sepulcher of the First Ones raid.

Exact requirements to trigger Award Glimmer of Satisfaction are still unclear, but it can happen independently per player in a group, and has been confirmed to work with Feast of Gluttonous Hedonism and Empty Kettle of Stone Soup so far.

Hidden Cooldown for Glimmer of Satisfaction indicates there is at least a 15 minute cooldown before it can trigger again.

So how rare is this and can we get more info on people who have looted one? I have wasted dozens of feasts trying to proc one of these. I tried at the start on a box, tried spamming clicking on a few, eating for hours accumulated, removing my well fed buff, dying/wiping and seeing if the "first" attempt at eating would proc it. I yoinked a lockout from a friend and tried the same thing in front of Anduin, and nothing. I've tried palatable and gluttonous feasts and will move onto normal food in a bit.

I got one while eating a Feast of Gluttonous Hedonism and I was the only one eating from it at that point, it was right after we killed the first trash mob in the raid. Obtained it when I received the food buff.

My first time forming a group of two to get in to try for this it dropped. Been popping in and out while farming for lattices ever since and got another one 22 Gluttonous Feasts later. I can confirm it will drop if you are alone in a raid group with one of your alts.

Wondering how to see the "Hidden Cooldown of Glimmer of Satisfaction". I'd like to know if it pauses while I'm hopping alts like the Gluttonous buff seems too.

1 of these dropped for one of my raid team tonight

It dropped into their bags randomly, at the end of the 10s eating (and gaining well-fed buff)

It dropped while rebuffing in front of Anduin (after many wipes), but I had placed a fair few feasts during the night (the trash man... ooft...), and with a 20man raid eating every time too... so that's some pretty rare odds.

Another community member (upon seeing it drop, and me then looking this up) plonked down several more feasts and spam nommed through them all himself (omnomnomnonmnom :P ), and got nothing... so there definitely seems to be some kind of internal counter that locks you out to prevent this (blizzard thought ahead with this one, fair enough really :P )

I must have placed 75+ Empty Kettle of Stone Soup in Haven and all over Zereth Mortis the past week while doing the daily chores on 2 different characters with pet forge unlocked. Still not a single Glimmer of Satisfaction pop. I do the soup because its super cheap now when Protoflesh cost 5-10s each.

I wait the guesstimated 15 minutes between each soup (I dont log out), in case the hidden debuff linked elsewhere do mean there is some kind of hidden cooldown. I even remove the Well Fed buff before gulping the soup.

Perhaps its time to give up on Empty Kettle of Stone Soup and focus on using Feast of Gluttonous Hedonism

All this is done outside of group. I did use a Empty Kettle of Stone Soup in a group while farming motes about a week ago, and 1 random guy got the Glimmer there.

UPDATE
After about 100 Empty Kettle of Stone Soup i got my first Glimmer of Satisfaction while solo eating out of group in Haven, dont give up lads :)
As mentioned elsewhere it was auto pushed into bags when I gained the Well Fed buff. I still let the 15 minutes pass before my last soup eating to combat the hidden debuff.

2nd UPDATE
Got my 2nd and last Glimmer of Satisfaction today after about another 10 Empty Kettle of Stone Soup - This time I got it over at Feastings location. So yup, you can get it all over the zone when eating from Empty Kettle of Stone Soup

all I put into the pot is protoflesh. I used 8 so far on the 8th one first time eating from that pot I got one while in haven. I still do not know if you can get one after the first time using a pot.

I can confirm that the hidden cooldown is not account-wide. You can place a Stone Soup on one character and log onto as many same faction and same server alts as you want to try until the feast runs out. I just placed one in Zereth Mortis on my main and got the glimmer on my 7th alt using the same feast. So if you have alts, don't waste your feasts on a single attempt with one character per 15 mins.

Alright, a few things I learned over the last week.

First, I spent 8 hours yesterday opening Warped Pocket Dimension at an approximate rate of once every 1-1.5 seconds, or somewhere between 19,200 - 28,800 times. I got exactly zero loot from that exercise, and certainly no Glimmers of Satisfaction. I don't know why Wowhead lists this as a possible content of this bag but with that many openings either it's a crazy, crazy low drop rate, or dirty data in the wowhead database.

Second, though I totally believe that people are getting the glimmers from Empty Stone Kettle soups in Haven or non-instanced Zereth Mortis, I am well past 150 of these (staying logged in, clicking off well fed debuff both right after I get it and right before I try a new soup) without a single Glimmer, so either I have really bad luck or they have really good luck.

Third, I tried experimenting with dropping these in LFR runs to see if I can measure how many other people get loot from my Empty Stone Kettle soups (also spaced at 15 minutes) and I've also yet to see one of these drop (across 25 people in the LFR instance, you'd think with 200+ chances across 2 hours I'd see at least one of these drop, but nada).

Currently, I'm estimating at best a 1% drop chance, but more likely a 0.3-0.5% drop chance unless I'm just terribly unlucky on this one.

I've set up a Glimmer of Satisfaction farming configuration, basically:

Several stacks of Feast of Gluttonous Hedonism
A buddy's alt standing around in Haven, Zereth Mortis, acting as raid leader. Don't know what he would have done otherwise, Netflix? Sleeping? Home Office
A total of 10 alts:

in the raid
free space in the bags
having Dealic Understanding researched and completed Protoform Synthesis to be eligible for glimmer drops
logged out in the resting area in Haven, Zereth Mortis.

The folders Interface and WTF moved to a backup folder (so the game created new ones) to speed up the log-into-game process.

A dinner turn consisted of 8-9 different alts managing to take a bite from the Feast of Gluttonous Hedonism until it despawned (3 minutes, it just stays three minutes). Also, the raid leader (who otherwise just stood around twiddling thumbs) took an equal amount of bites (cancelling the Well Fed buff and nomming again).

I started with dinner turns every 16 minutes (30-40 Feast of Gluttonous Hedonism), and harvested one Glimmer of Satisfaction on the very first turn. The next 20 Feast of Gluttonous Hedonism came on a larger interval - every participant got his/her share of 15m online time just in case the debuff does not tick while being offline (see below). I got the second Glimmer of Satisfaction on my very last feast. The raid leader put on some weight, but remained without glimmers. I am now done with 52/52 different protoform synthesises (I reset the public googledocs spreadsheet to keep it meaningful) and have to figure out what to do next.

Conclusions?

With probabilities guessed around 1% for a win, it is very difficult to make claims about what has been eligible feasting, since, e.g., with 100 eligible tries one would still have a 37% chance of having no winnings at all, with 200 eligible tries probabilities are still 13% for standing around really well fed but glimmerless. It would take thousands of tries to empirically "prove" assumptions by the absence of counterevidence.

The beneficial assumptions I tried to harden:

Assumption 1: The 15m cooldown is triggered on success, only.

The assumption could be validated be eating feasts with one character for 15 minutes after a 15 minute break (to ensure that there isn't a cooldown just running out in between) and get lucky somewhere in the process (not on the first bites, though).
The assumption could be invalidated empirical only - by the absence of validation with lots of data.

This would be interesting, since if true, my setup would have been too complicated: A single alt could manage 15-16 bites with one feast instead of 8-9, allowing a more effective farming and efforts for setting up additional alts for that purpose can be cut out.
Since the raid leader came up empty, I have no proof for that assumption whatsoever.
Chances are hard to calculate since he did not eat consistently. The probability for him to remain unsatisfied, despite the assumption being correct is still >1% even with most disciplined eating manners. His chances for coming up empty in case the assumption is false were around 60%.

The comment of Crinock here could be interpreted as providing evidence that the cooldown is triggered on success only, but additional information about whether the cooldown could have been already running and just had gone off is missing.

So far, data indicates that it is more probable the assumption is false.

Assumption 2: The 15m cooldown ticks down on offline characters, too.

The assumption could be validated by having an alt logged out after having eaten luckily, and getting lucky again at a later try (>15 minutes real time) with less then 15 minutes online time after the first lucky bite. What are the chances for that? No, don't bother. Being lucky once: 1%, being lucky in two consecutive tries therefore: 0,01%. Double luck needed since we do not know about assumption 1 being true or false.
Invalidation is even harder, since the amount of empirical data needed for having a sufficient probability for a healthy conclusion would have been off my charts, if I would have had any.

According to Wowhead, the 'Continues while logged out' attribute is not set on Hidden Cooldown for Glimmer of Satisfaction . So we should assume the assumption is false until proven otherwise (which is why I changed intervals) .

For me, the farming approach with long intervals and online time for each participant was the "safe bet", but took some preparation and time. If somebody can prove one or two of the assumptions above, it would be of value to anybody who is still short one or two Glimmer of Satisfaction.

Edited to add in 2022-05-02:

Sigh. In case you are still wondering whether Empty Kettle of Stone Soup works as well... it does.
Since I farm-feasted on my stock of Feast of Gluttonous Hedonism, I acquired a stack of Empty Kettle of Stone Soup to be ready for the next trip into the sepulcher (please buy Empty Kettle in Zereth Mortis for 200G instead of Oribos for 250G. I begrudge those cutthroats the additional gross margin - additional components for finishing the soup (Shaded Stone and Protoflesh - Refreshing Spring Water is sold by your favourite merchant riding on Grand Expedition Yak for a quarter) are usually available in the action house for very little money).
And of course, as we were regrouping between wipes, my Well Fed buff was accompanied by a Glimmer of Satisfaction. My third.

Lesson 1: If you plan to set up a farming configuration, prefer Empty Kettle of Stone Soup over Feast of Gluttonous Hedonism. Cheaper and it stays hot for ten minutes instead of three.
Lesson 2: If you are patient (I am not) and experience situations in which you are feasting on Feast of Gluttonous Hedonism or Empty Kettle of Stone Soup, you may want to skip the farming session until you are otherwise done with the expansion's content.

I got 1 from Olea Cache, which took me over 30 bags to loot one. Long before I got my first 2 Glimmers from eating feast. The very first one i get is from eating Feast of Gluttnous hedonism right in front of Anduin. 2nd one from eating soup in Haven.

I am currently farming the 1 glimmer of satisfaction to complete the protoform pets and mounts, and after reading a lot of sites and comments there is 1 question that I need answered:
The glimmer has a chance to spawn every time you eat for 10 seconds from a feast OR does it has a limit of once per feast?
I know it has to be in Zereth Mortis or the last raid, but I want to know if I can put a soup and spend 15 minutes clicking every 10 seconds for multiple chances or if I'm wasting my time and should just put a @#$% ton of feasts and click each once.

I really dislike how this was implemented and it really does not need to be this way. If you raid regularly, you basically get this by accident/for free, but if you don't then this becomes one of the more annoying/confusing synthesis items to farm thanks to the mysterious internal cooldown and not knowing whether we need to use a new feast for each attempt. In both cases it's close to zero fun. Had they not tied an achievement to this, it wouldn't bother me as much - but at least I only need to get 50/52...maybe these will be the 2 I don't make. Sitting AFK in ZM eating feasts is the least interesting protoform synthesis grinds, and that is saying something.

This will also be a problem for anyone who missed season 3/4 of SL, so hopefully Blizzard adds an alternate way to obtain these.

Wanted to add my experiences to people who may be confused reading through the comments. I read through Bakhtarrh's analysis, NelleRavencrest's evidence, and zealvurte's main comment. First the summary, and then the conclusions.

The Glimmer of Satisfaction is awarded when eating either Empty Kettle of Stone Soup or Feast of Gluttonous Hedonism.
Your character needs to be in either Zereth Mortis or in Sepulcher of the First Ones raid.
You character does not need to be in a raid or party.
The chance to Award Glimmer of Satisfaction happens whenever you either gain the "Well Fed" buff or refresh the buff.
The Hidden Cooldown for Glimmer of Satisfaction only triggers upon successfully gaining Glimmer of Satisfaction.
You do not need to remove the "Well Fed" buff to receive Glimmer of Satisfaction. Clicking the feast again is okay.
You do not need to wait for the 20 second "Food & Drink" buff to fade before clicking the feast again. (I was doing this at around 9 seconds remaining)

Okay now to describe my setup and perspective. At first I was not clear if Hidden Cooldown for Glimmer of Satisfaction was triggered by gaining the "Well Fed" buff or gaining Glimmer of Satisfaction. That was because the description of the cooldown was not specific to awarding the item or the chance to award the item. Some posters seemed to indicate that there was no empirical way to know that. Many posters (including some of the ones I reference) had setups that included a 15 minute in game wait period before taking "bites of the feast". So my first setup mimicked theirs. I ran through a minimum of 100 Feast of Gluttonous Hedonism waiting 16 minutes in between dropping a new feast. Sometimes I would refresh the buff with more clicks, but I was doing this inconsistently. Mainly this was while I was farming up Glimmer of Cunning, and realm hoping for Glimmer of Predation. But eventually I got those and was still farming this stupid glimmer. I switched over to Empty Kettle of Stone Soup using Protoflesh as the meat for a few. But then I read the comment by fdelduque which seemed to indicate what I summarized. I had already basically sunk 30 hours into waiting in between each attempt, so I thought, "Why not?"

So my new setup was to group up with a friend who is also going for this item. My main farming toon is Horde, and they are Alliance, so we did change it into a two person raid so we could share the feasts. I still believe all the other accounts of people who were solo and provided screenshots of them outside of groups and in Zereth Mortis proper. However, in order for me to maximize this the only way to interact with the same feast was inside the raid, not in open world content. The procedure was:

Enter Sepulcher of the First Ones just in the main hallway.
Drop a Empty Kettle of Stone Soup and load it up with Protoflesh.
Click on the feast
Wait until "Well Fed" buff popped up.
Despair when you didn't get Glimmer of Satisfaction
Wait until there was 8 seconds remaining on "Food & Drink"
Click on the feast again.
Wait until "Well Fed" buff refreshed itself
Despair when you didn't get Glimmer of Satisfaction
Repeat steps 6-9 until the feast disappeared.
Repeat this process from Step 2.

Practically, we went through another 18 Empty Kettle of Stone Soup and 900 Protoflesh. The Empty Kettle of Stone Soup is up for 10 minutes, and refreshing reliably at 8 second mark is about 50 attempts, I got the Glimmer of Satisfaction about 3 minutes into the 18th feast. As I stated the "Well Fed" buff was still up reading 60m remaining, and the "Drink & Food" buff was still ticking at around 8s remaining when I had clicked it just before receiving the item. After I regained consciousness and got a new pair of pants, I went to write this all down. I wanted to make sure others would not waste the kind of time that I did when I was farming this stupid thing. So please enjoy and happy farming!

Wow. What a fun, wild ride getting this glimmer has been. I have spent the better part of a week running 7 characters around SL, working down from a 60 minute food buff to 44 min or less. There is a lot of differing info on this comment thread on whether you can keep eating every 10 seconds or you have to wait 15 min, and whether the 15 min countdown counts while offline. Well, I just tried to cover all my bases. I had 7 characters with the pet protoform synthesis unlocked, i.e. glimmers had all dropped for them out in the wild. I sat them at the inn in either Haven or Pilgrim's Grace. I set up a stone soup, ate from it once to get a 60 min well fed buff, logged off, and logged on to the next character. This late in the xpac, I don't really do much other than mission tables on all my alts, so letting 15 minutes lapse ONLINE was pretty challenging, especially on 7 characters (that's 90 mins of just derping around, shame on Blizz for this).

My main has been grinding genesis motes, so while I was grinding, I would also set up a feast and eat from it the ENTIRE time it was up (feasts are up for only 3 minutes). When 15 minutes went by, I'd do another feast. No glimmers across 6 days. Once a day I would gather everyone up in ZM and eat across all my characters. After everyone ate once, I would have one char eat the rest of the stone soup until it disappeared, on the off chance glimmers could be obtained every 10 seconds, as some currently believe.

About 5 minutes ago I was doing my daily ZM sit-at-the-inn-and-eat-some-soup. On my FIRST eating (well fed buff was at 42 minutes down from 60) on my 3rd character, a glimmer was pushed into my bag at 10 seconds of eating. This further supports the idea that the FIRST eating is the one that gives you a drop chance and the 15 minute cooldown is on ATTEMPT, not success. I have gone through a minimum of 20 feasts and 15 stone soups in this journey and a lot of wasting time waiting around in Haven, alt-tabbed, waiting for my well fed to countdown. One glimmer of satisfaction I was lucky enough to get from an olea cache way back when, but my ZM journeys are mostly over so cyphers are hard to come by and honestly, it's not any better a grind or drop chance than the soups. For reference, I have done ZM on multiple characters every day since release and JUST NOW finished all my collecting. Protoform synthesis was an atrocity of a grind already and some of these glimmers are just stupid. I'm glad it's over! Good luck out there.

Obtained today after 636 feasts. This was doing a feast every 15 minutes with one use, whilst camping for the eggs for Glimmer of Cunning.

I used a mixture of feasts and stone soup and sat about Mother Phestis entrance.

Just need to add my experience which can't be considered statistically significant (n=2), but on both occasions that it dropped for me it was the first Food & Drink from the Empty Kettle of Stone Soup. My conclusion would be that either: you must remove the Well Fed or: there is an internal timer preventing it from dropping within minutes/hours/days.

This is just anecdotal, and more testing is definitely needed, but for what it's worth, I was using a stopwatch while spam clicking feasts every 10 seconds or so, as was outlined in blau's comment, and got both of my Glimmers on minutes divisible by 15. First one was a little past the 45 min mark, and the second a little past the 1 hour 30 min mark. This could just be a coincidence, of course, but it does support the idea that you can only attempt for the Glimmer every 15 minutes.

For sure getting Glimmer of Satisfactions is a schlep -- originally I'd thought this item on my 'Top 30 Worst Implemented WoW Ideas' (and I've been all over the block when it comes to getting things in this game, tough grinds or otherwise), but this has reached, easily, 'Top 15 Worst . . . '

I got one Glimmer on 4/16/23 on my 4th Soup of the day (I do five Stone Soups a day. Every so often I'll do a sixth Soup but that's negligible so won't work those into the math. Also, there've been some Well Fed buffs acquired back when questing/raiding in ZM was current -- negligible. There're always the occasional misclicks or slightly prolonged alt-tabs that throw off that exact '1buff/10.5sec' figure, so I'll just use approximations).

I've really gotten into a routine of farming Glimmer of Satisfactions starting on March 19, 2023. I don't remove the Well Fed buff between clicks (as speculated, maybe that'd help one get the drop, maybe not).

If the chance of getting a Glimmer is based on each refreshed Well Fed buff:

≈144 Soups =
≈12mins/Soup =
≈1728mins (28.8hours) invested =

≈1click/10.5secs (or ≈1Well Fed buff /10.5secs) =
≈1Glimmer/9874 Roll Attempts

If the chance of getting a Glimmer is based on one attempt /Feast or Soup: ≈1Glimmer/144 Roll Attempts

If the chance of getting a Glimmer is based on one attempt /15mins: ≈1Glimmer/115 Roll Attempts

Oh, and two Glimmer of Satisfactions are needed if one wants to synthesize all of their own pets -- so all this.. doubled!

Just want to add my bit of frustration about farming the Glimmer of Satisfaction. I have spent several hours a day during the past week trying to get this last Glimmer. I received one right at the beginning , from a Gluttinous Feast inside the Raid on the firt click of my third or fourth feast, but since then nothing.
I have dropped about 40 Gluttinous Feasts and about 16 Kettles of Bone Soup (mostly inside the raid but not always) , and have mostly sat there the whole time clicking every 12 seconds (as soon as Well Feb buff triggers.) I believe from the accounts I read here that it is not necessary to click off the buff, although I did do that in the beginning. It would be very helpful to know if this just an incredibly low drop rate, or am I doing some thing wrong. I wish I knew:

1. Does it ONLY drop on your first click of a new Feast or Bone Soup (could save hours of sitting around clicking), and
2. Is there is an invisible 15 minute timer during which you have to stay online before you make a second attempt.

I have tons of patience and have some some really long grinds, but this is the worst. So much so that I am even prompted to make a post about it.
As a non-raider, I feel disproportionately penalised as I did not received the 2 Glimmers I need during the expansion like most of my raiding friends. Now I am trying to farm it solo without any definate idea how it works.
Why the hell does Blizzard have to make these things so obscure and with such low drop rates. It is not fun at all, and mainly I play the game to have fun.
I thought farming the Motes was going to be the most difficult thing about getting the ZM pets and mounts but this Glimmer of Satisfaction is the worst . Come on Blizzard I am sure you can do better than this.

I just finished farming one of these Glimmer of Satisfaction this morning after about 26 hours & 30 minutes (26.5 hr.'s) of attempts.

I'm not sure if I just got unlucky, but this farm was horrible. I bought a ton of feasts at the end of Shadowlands during the Dragonflight pre-patch when they were a few gold each on my realm. If you are about to start farming these glimmers, then I would very strongly suggest that you check the price of the pets on the AH & consider buying them instead. I already had the feasts stockpiled, which is why I went that route, but I could have just bought the Microlicid pet I needed for 70k.

I could farm out 70k or make that playing the AH in a fraction of the time it took me to farm that last damned glimmer I needed. At a 70k price point for the Microlicid pet you would only need to make about 2,650 gold per hour to be able to afford it in the same 26.5 hour span of time it took me to farm using feasts.

You may get lucky and have a glimmer drop really early on, but it seems to be heavily RNG based. You could end up clicking feasts for 26.5 hours like I did.
Check the prices for the pets on your realm before you start trying to farm these glimmers!

A few points:

All of my attempts were made inside the Sepulcher of the First Ones raid right by the entrance.
I used Feast of Gluttonous Hedonism for all of my attempts.
It took me about 530 Feast of Gluttonous Hedonism before I got my Glimmer of Satisfaction. Just one single glimmer in all that time.
I would eat Food & Drink for 12 - 13 seconds to refresh my Well Fed.

Some additional information to consider:

You do not need to remove the Well Fed buff before eating again.
The Glimmer of Satisfaction gets added directly into your inventory & does not give a loot notification in chat, so check your bags & don't worry about missing the loot.
The 15 minute cooldown Hidden Cooldown for Glimmer of Satisfaction only applies / begins once you actually obtain a Glimmer of Satisfaction.
It takes about 8 - 9 seconds of eating (Food & Drink buff timer) to get or refresh the Well Fed.
Each Feast of Gluttonous Hedonism lasts for 3 minutes (180 seconds).
Each Empty Kettle of Stone Soup lasts for 10 minutes (600 seconds).

Now, lets assume that we eat our feasts every ten seconds:

18 attempts / refreshes of Well Fed per Feast of Gluttonous Hedonism.
3 minutes = 180 seconds, 180 / 10 = 18

Crafting cost:
Feast of Gluttonous Hedonism
10x Spinefin Piranha
10x Silvergill Pike
10x Tenebrous Ribs
10x Phantasmal Haunch
5x Elysian Thade
5x Smuggled Azerothian Produce (45s per x1 or 2g 25s per x5 w/o rep discount)
5x Rich Grazer Milk (42s 5c per x1 or 2g 12s 5c per x5 w/o rep discount)
5x Lusterwheat Flour (35s per x1 or 1g 75s per x5 w/o rep discount)
(6g 12s 5c per craft for vendor items w/o rep discount)

60 attempts / refreshes of Well Fed per Empty Kettle of Stone Soup.
10 minutes = 600 seconds, 600 / 10 = 60

Crafting cost (for kettle):
Empty Kettle of Stone Soup
1x Empty Kettle (250g per x1 w/o rep discount)
5x Refreshing Spring Water (5c)
1x Shaded Stone

Cost to fill the kettle:
(Precursor Placoderm & Protoflesh can be bought off the auction house & will almost certainly be cheaper to use for stone soup than any of the other options!)

1x Precursor Placoderm = 10% progress towards completion of soup (10x for 0 - 100%).
5x Protoflesh = 10% progress towards completion of soup (50x for 0 - 100%).

Meat Medley = 10% progress towards completion of soup (10x of each meat for 0 - 100%):
1x Aethereal Meat
1x Creeping Crawler Meat
1x Phantasmal Haunch

Don't know if this is useful information in 2023 but I just received this item by consuming Feast of Gluttonous Hendonism inside Haven.
I bought 100 feasts from AH and consumed 11. I didn't remove the Well Fed buff nor did I stand up between feast clicks (about 14 per feast). Only time my character stood was to place another feast down. When the 'Food & Drink' buff would get to about 8s (as other comments suggested), I would click on the feast again. Additionally, some people said your chat wouldn't indicate if you looted the item but not only did it link in chat, it also gave me a modern loot popup in the middle of my screen.

Does anybody know if it only counts eating Shadowlands feasts? Or can it be feasts from Dragonflight (current xpac as of this comment)?

Just got my first one tonight, with all the tips in the highlighted posts provided. Took me about 30 mins. (after having done it for a couple 30 min. spans yesterday) - and about 20-40 feast of gluttonous hedonisms.

It took me exactly 170 Feast of Gluttonous Hedonism to get my first glimmer. Second one took 40 more. I was sitting in Zereth Mortis and eating every 12 seconds like suggested.
Did not cancel the food buff.

Never took a break, except 15 minutes after getting the first one.

After reading through all of the current comments my guess is that it is 15 minutes per attempt, because blizzard didn't want players to be able to buy a bunch of feasts and lay them all down and eat them one after the other.

so i will proceed by laying down a Kettle of Stone Soup (currently the cheapest feast on the auction house) (which happens to despawn right after 15 minutes.) eating it to gain the well fed buff,..farm stuff while in game (because i have not been able to guess whether the 15 minute debuff requires that your toon be in game to fall off before the next attempt) then when the well fed buff states 44 minutes remaining i will continue to try again by repeating the process. (60 minutes well fed buff minus 16 minutes to hope that the debuff has fallen off.)

as for alts they should be attuned to the zereth mortis pet forge also know as the Protoform Synthesis.
To do this agree to skip all pertinent content and then when in zereth mortis get to the Cypher Research Consule and make sure the top 3 items are clicked right across the top. Then accept the quest from Pocopoc and head over to the Protoform Synthesis Forge and ensure that your toon is able to click on the forge to make companion pets. At this point the alts should be unlocked and able to 'roll' on Glimmers.

So after countless hours spent like the others described, eating food for buff every 10 seconds and spending thousands of gold on it. I finally bought the microlicid pet from AH for around 70k gold. Then this mote dropped from Olea cache... Before I bought the pet I opened 23 Olea caches. This dropped on my 24th when I already lost all hope of seeing it -_-

I've been working on getting this on and off again for a few weeks. alternating between dropping feasts and just continuously eating every 10-12 secs, dropping 1 feast then going in game and doing something else for 15+ mins, and dropping 1 feast and logging off and doing other things for 15+ minutes.
Got my first one today. The character that got it doing dailies and generally doing other stuff for at least another hour as I did not have the well fed buff when i zone into into haven at which point I dropped the feast of Gluttonous Hedonism, and got the glimmer of satisfaction on the first click as soon as I got the Well Fed buff. This is not enough information to confirm that the chance is once every 15 minutes, but wanted to share it as it seems like it still has not been determined when the hidden cooldown kicks in.

Update: got my second glimmer of satisfaction today. Similar to above, however, I had gone AFK and when i came back the current well fed buff was at 42mins left (so 18mins had passed since my last click on the feast and about 21 mins since I dropped the previous feast). Got the Glimmer on the first click as soon as well fed refreshed. Again, it doesn't give us an answer to when the hidden debuff kicks in, but hopefully with others comments it can be more definitively determined.

Just wanted to comment on the hidden 15 minutes CD.
Reading posts, some people claim the CD only starts when you receive a Glimmer and others claim it's when you gain a Well Fed buff.
However, nobody seems to be able to prove either hypothesis.

I've decided to try using an Hedonism feast every 16 mins (to be sure) and then clicking it every 12 seconds until it's gone.
This way, if I get a Glimmer on any Well Fed other than the first one, it confirms the CD triggers only when the Glimmer is received.
However, if I received it on the first try, it wouldn't confirm either hypothesis... so back to square one.

So far, I received only one Glimmer on the very first Well Fed of the feast.
I was also talking to another player in game that did the same thing as myself.
He also received it from the first Well Fed of his feast (waiting more then 15 minutes between them).

I'll update when I get my second Glimmer but all points out toward one try every 15 minutes.
Would make more sense anyway.

Edit: Just got my second Glimmer from first well fed of the feast using the same technique.

TL:DR: I wouldn't suggest trying more than once every 15 minutes.
Unless someone can get a Glimmer from second, third, etc... Well Fed of a feast using this technique, everything points out toward the CD starting with the first Well Fed.
Even though, some claim the CD starts when you receive the Glimmer, it was never proven.

Sharing my experience with this.

I used three accounts and went through 10 feasts clicking every 11-12 seconds to refresh the buff. Not a single Glimmer dropped on any.

I logged back in an hour later and hit a feast with the three toons again. The FIRST toon that ate got a Glimmer. None of the others got one. I repeated the 12-second cycle 6 more times and got nothing.

I waited 20 minutes and ate another feast, this time on one toon only. I got ANOTHER Glimmer on the first one.

Obviously this is not enough evidence to say whether it's best to wait 15 minutes+ between eating, but I wanted to share this nonetheless.

Has anyone gotten this recently? I have been using Feasts on 4 of my chars every 20 mins and haven't gotten a single glimmer yet, but a few times when my chars sat to eat, i would get a system message saying "You must be standing to do that". I'm starting to wonder if this thing is bugged and related to the error. I've used around 100 feats so far.

I wouldn't waste your time trying for this nonstop. There seems to be differing opinions on whether or not there's a 15 minute cooldown, and if I had to guess I think there is. I've tried at this continuously for many hours, with very little luck. Eventually I did get one with the nonstop eating method, but after that I took a long break from it. Today I decided to try for it again, so I made 20 feasts of gluttonous hedonism and have been going back to Zereth Mortis every 15-20 minutes. On my 10th and 11th feast I got a glimmer of satisfaction. I must've eaten from these feasts around 1000 times, so to get 2 in a row like this is very surprising. Of course I could just be an anomaly, and to some extent I probably am (feel very lucky to get 2 in a row), but take from this what you will. Just don't want other people wasting their time like I did.

Perhaps luck, but after consuming 40+ Feast of Gluttonous Hedonism on different characters while sitting in the Haven in ZM, I decided to try in the raid and finally got the Glimmer of Satisfaction. Tried it on another alt in the raid, got a second Glimmer of Satisfaction.

Not sure if it's just random luck or if there's a higher chance inside the raid.
