To get Cyphers of the First Ones you have to unlock all skills from Cypher Console.
To unlock Cypher Console you need some progress on the main campaign in Zereth Mortis Secrets of the First Ones.
After unlock the Cypher Console use Cyphers of the First Ones to get all Cypher Skills.
You can get Cyphers of the First Ones from quests, world quests, treasures and rares in Zereth Mortis.

After get Schematic: Pale Regal Cervid from Cyphers of the First Ones you'll receive the quest Schematic Reassimilation: Pale Regal Cervid.
Return the quest to allows craft Pale Regal Cervid.

Materials to craft (Click on the items to check the full drop list):
400x Genesis Mote. Drop from a lot of mobs in Zereth Mortis.
1x Protoform Sentience Crown. Can drop from Mechanical Mobs in Zereth Mortis.
1x Cervid Lattice. Can drop from Chitali the Eldest, Native Cervid, Carnivorous Cervid. /way 55,0, 82,2

To get Pale Regal Cervid you need to complete Cyphers of the First Ones in Zereth Mortis and bring Schematic: Pale Regal Cervid it to the Synthesis Forge*, then collect reagents for the craft

Resources required to craft (all of them are zone related):
400xGenesis Mote - drops all over the Zereth Mortis
Protoform Sentience Crown - drops from many mobs in the zone Dominated Laborer, Dominated Worldbreaker, Dominated Runeshaper and so on
Cervid Lattice - Can buy on AH or farm from specific mobs (check dropped by section)

* Synthesis Forge Prerequisites to be able to see a schematic & to turn it in & craft the Mount:
Complete 3 parts of the main campaign in the Secrets of the First Ones Forming an Understanding
Complete Cypher Console upgrade Aealic Understanding => Dealic Understanding (to craft pets) & Sopranian Understanding (to craft mounts)
Complete Protoform Synthesis quest to craft pets / Finding Tahli questchain & After daily reset The Lost Component & A New Architect to craft mounts

Schematic: Pale Regal Cervid is a protoform synthesis mount.

To obtain this schematic you need to earn Cyphers of the First Ones achievement.
As earned the achievement check out your mail and get the schematic.
After bringing the schematic to Protoform Repository you will learn how to create Pale Regal Cervid mount.

In order to obtain any schematics for the Protoform Synthesis Forge you have to unlock it first
How to Unlock the protoform synthesis forge:
Complete first 3 chapters of the Campaign Secrets of the First Ones
Research Sopranian Understanding at the cypher console in Exile's Hollow
Complete the questline starting at Finding Tahli. Once completed, the next day you can start The Lost Component which leads to unlocking Protoform Synthesis (Mount)

Made it today, oh what a grind especially not being a warlock (or such) and not being in Venthyr! All those long hours paid off though since it's a beautiful mount. I don't think alot of people have it yet so it'll have that oomph factor aswell atleast for a while.

got the achievement today, got the mail for the recipe but instead of getting the quest item to return to the forge the message was just empty; the recipe was added straight to the protoform synthesis list instead, which left me quite confused until I went to check the list.

Cervids don't fly

Once you have flying, you feel earthbound on ground mounts. IMO cervids should fly. There's a lot of work put into earning/crafting these mounts. Decide which mounts are must-haves. The tooltip for the name of each mount includes a screenshot - so you can compare.

Deathrunner. Schematic: Deathrunner. Free. The schematic and materials are provided when you open Proto-synthesis mount crafting.
Anointed Protostag Reins. Sold by Vilo, the Enlightened Quartermaster in Haven for 5,000 Reservoir Anima. Requires Revered with the Enlightened.
Pale Regal Cervid. Schematic: Pale Regal Cervid is the reward for the Achievement Cyphers of the First Ones.
Reins of the Sundered Zerethsteed. Schematic: Sundered Zerethsteed can be picked up the Endless Sands at 60.6, 30.5 on the ground or in a Mawsworn Cache.

To get the schematic for this mount you need to complete the full Cypher research console. This means getting all points on the table that you can. This unlocks the achievement Cyphers of the First Ones

Unlocking Sopranian Understanding on the table also unlocks a quest on the map called Finding Tahli. Completing this quest and all the parts that appear from there allows the schematics for protoform synthesis to be collected.

- Protoform Sentience Crown
- 400x Genesis Mote
