The Lost ExplorersA band of tortollans, possessed by spirits, have come to their senses near the sarcophagus of an ancient Soulcoiler. Trapped in the vault, they seek ancient artifacts to protect themselves from further possession by vengeful spirits.

Overview: Mor'zahi uses [Dark Whispers] to gain control over a group of tortollan explorers he has lured into the temple. If his control over them is broken, Mor'zahi casts [Binding Anguish], expending all of his energy to reassert control and grant the target additional abilities.
If Mor'zahi reaches full energy, he achieves [Empowered Ascension].
Mor'zahi's concentration can be broken if a tortollan he is controlling consumes a Disgusting Fish.

Damage Dealers:
Fire and frost effects from [Frostfire Volley] cancel each other out.
[Mighty Thud] inflicts very high damage to all players. Each impact inflicts damage split evenly between players directly hit.
Trader Gebbo's [Explosive Surprise] triggers [Concussive Blast], which can knock players into the air during [Fungal Burst].
Healers:
[Blink Nova] inflicts high damage to all players. Players farther from Scrollsage Iku's target receive less damage.
[Icebound Flames] inflicts high damage to a player if Scrollsage Iku is not interrupted, but the lingering effects can be dispelled.
[Elemental Explosion] inflicts damage to all players when Frost and Fire effects interact.
Tanks:
[Shredding Shards] from Scrollsage Iku inflicts high magic damage and magic vulnerability to the current target.
First Mate Nama's attacks against his current target gain increasing Physical damage from [Steady Strikes].
[Aura of Unity] grants [United Defense] to the tortollan explorers when Scrollsage Iku and Trader Gebbo are both near First Mate Nama.

Scrollsage Iku

Blink Nova: Scrollsage Iku gathers arcane power and teleports to the location of a player, inflicting 666725 Arcane damage to all players. Players farther from Scrollsage Iku's target receive less damage.
Icebound Flames: Scrollsage Iku blasts a player with elemental magic, inflicting 833406 Frostfire damage along with 166681 Frostfire damage every 1 sec while reducing their movement speed by 50% for 12 sec.
Shredding Shards: Scrollsage Iku projects a series of ice shards at her primary target, inflicting 50 Frost damage every 0.5 sec over 3.5 sec.
Each shard increases Magic damage taken by 50% for 1.3 min.
Frostfire Volley: Scrollsage Iku unleashes a volley of frost and fire missiles at players. Fire missiles inflict 83341 Fire damage and Frost missiles inflict 10 Frost damage to players within 10 yds of the impact.

Each fire missile creates a Fire Patch and each frost missile creates a Frost Patch where it lands.

These impacts trigger Elemental Explosion if they strike any player with Burning Flames or Piercing Frost.

Elemental Explosion: The volatile elemental interaction inflicts 833406 Frostfire damage to all players.
Burning Flames: Inflicts 83341 Fire damage every 1 sec for 1 min or until cancelled by a Frost effect.
Fire Patch: Inflicts 41675 Fire damage every 1 sec to players within 5 yds.
Frost effects will dissipate this patch.
Piercing Frost: Inflicts 58338 Frost damage every 1 sec and reduces the target's movement speed by 60% for 1 min or until cancelled by a Fire effect.
Frost Patch: Inflicts 41675 Frost damage every 1 sec to players within 5 yds.
Fire effects will dissipate this effect.

Cataclysmic Invocation: When one of her allies is defeated, Scrollsage Iku unleashes a massive explosion, inflicting 1166768 Fire damage to all players. This damage increases with each cast.

First Mate Nama

Shell Spin: First Mate Nama hurls three spinning shells in a cone in front of him. The shells will stun players they come into contact with for 4 sec.
Mighty Thud: First Mate Nama marks three players, then leaps to each player's location, starting with the nearest.
Each impact inflicts Physical damage split evenly among players within 6 yards and knocks them back.
The total damage increases with group size.
If Mighty Thud fails to hit a player, it inflicts massive Physical damage to all players.

Aftershock: Mighty Thud leaves behind quaking ground that inflicts 166681 Physical damage to players within 6 yds every 1 sec for 30 sec.

Aura of Unity: First Mate Nama grants United Defense to Scrollsage Iku and Trader Gebbo, as well as himself when both are nearby, reducing incoming damage taken by 99%. (Heroic, Mythic)

United Defense: Damage taken is reduced by 99% while near First Mate Nama. (Heroic, Mythic)

Steady Strikes: First Mate Nama gains 4% Physical damage to his current target with each attack, lasting 1 min.
Relentless Escalation: When one of his allies is defeated, First Mate Nama gains 100% increased damage every 1 sec for 30 sec.

Trader Gebbo

Throw Junk: Trader Gebbo throws boxes from his inventory which inflict 120 Physical damage to players within 3 yards of their impact. The boxes can be broken open and may contain useful items. Players breaking open boxes are afflicted by Splinters.

Disgusting Fish: Mor'zahi's concentration can be broken if a tortollan he is controlling consumes a Disgusting Fish.
Splinters: Stomping on boxes of junk causes the player to bleed for 41671 Physical damage every 1 sec for 30 sec. This effect stacks.
Relic Rupture: The relic within the crate ruptures, inflicting 416703 Shadow damage to all players. (Normal, Heroic, Raid Finder)
Relic Rupture: The relic within the crate ruptures, inflicting 416703 Shadow damage to all players. If a player stomps on a crate to break it, this effect inflicts 166681 Shadow damage to players within 15 yds instead. (Mythic)

Mushroom Toss: Trader Gebbo tosses Bouncy Mushrooms at players' locations. Bouncy Mushrooms bounce players high into the air when touched.

Fungal Burst: A perturbed mushroom bursts after a short delay, inflicting 416713 Nature damage to nearby players.

Explosive Surprise: Trader Gebbo tosses a bomb to the location of a player which inflicts 50 Physical damage to players within 10 yards on impact.

Concussive Blast: The Concussion Bomb explodes, inflicting 416703 Fire damage and knocking back players within 10 yds. Players affected suffer 10 Fire damage every 1 sec for 12 sec.
Blast Wave: A shockwave from an Explosive Bomb inflicts 7500652 Fire damage and 250022 Fire damage every 1 sec for 10 sec to players it contacts.
Spreading Flames: Fire spreads across a large area and inflicts 166681 Fire damage every 1 sec to players within it. (Mythic, Heroic)

Smashing Shovel: When one of his allies is defeated, Trader Gebbo wields a shovel which inflicts an additional 416703 Physical damage and knocks players back with each strike.

Mor'zahi

Malevolent Presence: Mor'zahi glows with ancient power, inflicting 83341 Shadow damage every 2 sec to all players.
Evil Eyes: The eyes of the statues surrounding the room project spirit flames at the locations of nearby players, inflicting 50 Shadow damage within 2 yards.
Dark Whispers: Mor'zahi's dark whispers compel the target to follow his commands.

Binding Anguish: Mor'zahi violently retakes control of his target, granting them additional abilities.

Empower: Mor'zahi gathers power the longer he is free.

Empowered Ascension: Mor'zahi unleashes his full power, inflicting 416703 Shadow damage every 0.5 sec to all players.
