Raid: will be the go-to option in raids. It buffs Light of Dawn significantly, which is now our main spender in Raids.

Mythic+: will be the default Hero Talent in Mythic+, due to having better reactive healing.

Playing a Holy Paladin in rotation guide

Avoid Wasting Holy Power - It is your main healing resource, spent on your strongest spells, Word of Glory and Light of Dawn. Even if you have nothing to heal, you should be spending your Holy Power to deal damage with Shield of the Righteous.
Never cast a Holy Power generator if you are on 5 Holy Power already.

ABC - Always Be Casting - This is a mantra that is important for almost all specs to follow. Essentially, it just means you should always be filling every possible global cooldown with a spell. Remember, it is better to be casting a suboptimal spell than to cast no spell at all. Of course, you should follow the priority list to the best of your ability, but don't get stuck casting nothing at all because you are trying to cast the "correct" spells.

Use Cooldowns Often - As a healer, it is easy to fall into the trap of always saving your cooldowns because you think you might need them later. This often leads to fewer total uses of those cooldowns which is almost always a major healing loss.
Instead, you should strive to get as many uses of your cooldowns off as possible and only save them when you know for certain that you have to.

Thank you for this holy pally guide.
i just want to point out.... sometime you dont have time to build holy power. all you can do is spam your filler heals to get holy power. but at tha tpoint people die. you cant control people who stand in things. and wha tim tryign to get at is i love changes but i due feel like holy pally needs somthing to help or a boast to there basic heals... im having toruble healing anythign over a 10 right now. and i just feel like my pally can be lacking a ttimes.

I am starting up Holy Paladin again and I believe that class to be a type of Bard class. A holy paladin just tags along behind the tank and keeps the whole party happy in a dungeon run. I noticed maybe the tanks being overzealous and they would pull 5-7 groups of monsters just to look pro like a Blizzard esports even and it just doesn't work. I believe the tank would do that because the player sees almost a full mana bar. That mana is not nice to drain to 0 but holy paladin can adjust the playing style for it with very nice flash heals and maybe eating up a storm. Maybe get some mana regeneration items before just flash healing because flash heal was meant for the "preachers" not the "entertainers"
I think that is why Holy Paladin has a nice set of armor to wear because the hard knocks that the tank is suppose to get go to the Holy Paladin.
Have you heard the saying from a bard. "I will feel your pain if you get punched in the face and I will save you from your demise."

Somehow Holy Paladin is perceived to be a "thug" even more than a rouge. I guess a nice tattooed cross on the chest to the bottom of the belly perception. Maybe the number "44" on a shoulder too.

9.2 changes need correction:
Avenging Wrath rank 3 is removed, not rank 2z
And no matter what datamining says the 6% core ability buff is only for healing. This was tested on PTR and is what was posted on official patch notes.

why would you take avenging wrath: might over avenging crusader in a raid setting? avenging crusader is HUGE for raid. strength of conviction also seems like a weird pick for raids. you should really be relying on lod for the most part.

Serious question, as somebody who has played Holy Paladin since Wrath and is now getting very tired of the constant nerfing. What are some comparable healing classes? What class, if any, bridges the gap?
