Critical Strike: Chance for attacks and heals to deal double damage. Advanced Interactions
Marksmanship has several effects that scale off of Critical Strike, such as Serrated Tips, Penetrating Shots, Master Marksman, Take Aim, Lethality, Unerring Vision, Bulletstorm/Incendiary Ammunition, Banshee's Mark and Stargazer.

Haste: Increases attack speed, reduces your Global Cooldown, and reduces the cooldown of most rotational abilities.

Mastery: Increases the effectiveness of Mastery: Sniper Training, increasing the damage and range of all your Hunter abilities.

Versatility: Increases damage and healing, and reduces damage taken.

Example
Let's assume you gain 1% Haste for 10 Haste Rating. When above the diminishing return breakpoint, 10 Haste Rating would give you 0.9% Haste instead, resulting in a 10% reduction from what you gained previously.

if mastery is marksman strongest secondary stat then why is it when i change spec from survival to MM my mastery drops from 33% to 13%, beast mastery to marksman drops 38% to 13%, all other stats remain the same, is this a deliberate nerf to marksman, when no gear is on then its 5% 13% 18% MM SH BM

I can't get why Crit is better than Mastery on MM.
Even considering "Master Marksman" talented the bonus % damage given for 1 point of Crit is 0,033, while for each point of Mastery the hunter gets 0,04% increased damages. What am I missing. MM has not specific procs for crytical strikes as BM has with barbed. What am I missing?

Hey, Nice and Thanks alot for your Guide, I have 2 questions And I'm very grateful if you answer، in My MM Hunter character i have 28%crit, 6%haste,18% mastery And 2%leech And Unfortunately 0%versatility And My question is as a mm Hunter i need How much % to versatility in pve? And If I want to add to the amount of my versatility
What should I reduce?

And My question B is we Know Wild Spirits have 2 min cd while Resonating arrow have 1min cd And plus arcane damages offer 30%crit for 10 sec And 325 mastery in 10~19 sec i think a mm Hunter can not refuse this great offer And Of course, considering that Niya also offer 400 mastery too so why did not Choose Kyrian? ، I am very grateful for your time

I think you guys should review the guide at least for the stats, as you contradict yourselves. You can't say Mastery is the best stat in one line (which is actually true) but still say it's worse than haste and crit. This makes no sense at all.

The "correct" way around would be Weapon DPS >>> Agility >> Mastery > Critical Strike > Versatility > Haste. Maybe Weapon DPS >>> Agility >> Mastery > Critical Strike = Versatility >= Haste or Weapon DPS >>> Agility >> Mastery > Critical Strike = Versatility = Haste. But absolutely not the one you wrote down.

Why does this guide tell me on the priority list for stats that mastery is 2nd to last but when I read the information given specifically for mastery it says at the end of the paragraph that its the best?

For secondary stats, Marksmanship Hunter has the following:
Critical Strike: Critical Strike is a strong stat for us due to Master Marksman. A couple of different factors such as Improved Kill Shot Rank 2 and Master Marksman play a major role.
Haste: Haste speeds up everything about our rotation, including Focus generation, Aimed Shot charge generation, and casts. While it isn't necessarily bad, other stats are typically better to aim for.
Mastery: Mastery is generally our best stat, affecting almost all of our relevant damage.
Versatility: Increases all the damage you do, and reduces all damage taken. A decent stat to have that also provides a bit of survivability.

Do Not Focus Too Much on Secondaries
In general, you should not really be overly concerned with the actual stats on your character sheet. There are no breakpoints, softcaps, or "good numbers to have" of any stat.

Our stats are reasonably balanced in value, with Haste and Crit generally being ahead, with Mastery not far behind, and Versatility quite far behind. Note that your individual gear situation could flip this stat priority on its head, which is why we always recommend to sim yourself.

Which is also a contradiction since it states in that first bit that MASTERY is generally best stat. Reading that first part makes it literally seem as if Mastery >= Critical strike > Haste >= Verse

Guide either needs total clean and rewriting or to literally disregard everything past the first block of text.
