Maybe because the core races on horde sides are leaning more toward the good guy/peaceful race type of deal. So it may be that they are receiving more of the attention since their race are struggling a lot more to survive.
WoW Lore often portrays the humans as egotists and are racist against the "green skin" and other horde factions that have banded up with the Orcs. And if they keep making the alliance the victorious side, it doesn't sound fair for the peaceful and noble races of the Hordes.
So far, the only race on horde side that are more toward the bad guys could be blood elves, since they are just joining the horde to take advantage of their faction's support and aids mean while are still completely focused on their goal of obtaining more magic power sources since they are magic addicted.

The style of lore for the Horde is very apropriate in my opinion: lots of aggressive, reckless expansion, with little heed for the consequences.
It's called being Corrupted by demons!
And Garrosh, I think is still under the demon's control, as was Grom, I mean, LOOK AT HIM! HE'S RED!
But the green-skinned orcs, for the most part, are peaceful, honorable, inquisitive (yes i know I'm being orc-racist against the red/rust-orange/grey skinned orcs) shamanistic tribes. Also, in my opinion the Alliance is FAR from civilized.... the Gnomes Gassed 2/3 of their OWN population! The Humans are constantly trying to destroy everything they don't understand (hmm... sounds kinda like reality huh?), the Draenei are, in fact, the ones that CAUSED the orc's corruption by bringing demons to their world, the dwarves, hmm well, I like the dwarves... (haha), The Night Elves try and elminate everything they deem a danger to nature, and they started with the Trolls, Their own ancestors, for no reason at all!
(I'm kind of confused as to why the Alliance took the Worgen in when Genn Greymane turned his back on them once before...!)

I personally do not pay much attention to lore. Occasionally I will wowwiki a character just to see why a big deal is being made about them but other than that I don't care. But, the whole "WTFBBQBS BIZZ LIKES <FACTION> OVER <FACTION>" is simply an opinion. I only agree with that in regards to the time and effort that Blizz put into Horde and Ally capital cities, towns/strong holds, and areas in general. I think Ally areas are far nicer than Horde areas hands down. Now, you can argue that that is because Horde cities and areas are supposed to be rugged and savage looking. That's a fair argument but Blizz can accomplish the rugged look without being lazy.

In lore why is it that the Alliance is losing to the Horde whether it be in BGs or territorial etc ?
Look let me just say im not looking for typical stupid replies like " Because Horde is better ", im looking for actual lore reasons or maybe even why you think Chris Metzen wants a Horde advantageous perspective instead of Alliance ?
I know stories are written the way the Author wants but Alliance seem to be bending over and taking it from Horde from the author's words.
Alliance technically lost retaking Lordaeron City which is a Horde victory from Blizzard's quest designing.
Blizzard need to give Alliance players something to be inspired by, heck let Magni Bronzebeard smash a Troll to death with his mace if you have to.
PS - Please take the spotlight away from Varian Wrynn, theres more popular Alliance NPCs who deserve some recognition, theres also more races than Humans and Orcs to be popularised.
Because Thrall is main character. He conquers the victors. He seduces the irresistible. He saves children from the Cataclysm of Deathwing!

Yeah,I don't understand the current situation of Horde kicking alliances ass when Alliance in lore is supposedly better equipped and have greater numbers. The only real logical explanation is that since there's going to be turbulence with Horde lore, they want Horde players to have some sort of morale boost, even if it goes against the current story.

Because in lore, while the alliance have more members, and better technology, the Horde has a history of good strategic leadership. (The dark lady and the forsaken on their own could probably take out the entire alliance with nothing but well planned ambushes and traps). The hordes "Blood and honor" means stuff such as honoring alliances and deals, while when it comes to combat they are a lot more "That's called strategy, not cowardince (unless your counting Garrosh, who I plan to assassinate)"

Scourge is t3h awesome!
But it is rather annoying that Alliance will lose territory in Cataclysm, with the Night Elves losing their forests and homes and Humans losing land to Foresaken.
Then again, I hate the idea of Foresaken.
