The effects of Heroic Strike are known, the problem is keeping a consistent rotation while still using Heroic Strike. Dropping abilities completely isn't the solution, really.
OK, let's go over it before someone gets any funny ideas here. For at least the first 3 abilities, use Devastate. Up until 5x Sunder Armor applications it is the highest threat cycle, after which the normal Shield Slam & Revenge rotations are just fine.
So, refer back to the Warrior Talent Guide for a brief explanation & the actual rotation itself. Obviously, the guide was about talents & builds, so I didn't include a lot of detail.
Basically, the Sunder Armor effect really shines & makes a difference with Shield Slam, but it isn't practical until at least 3x SA applications. That's why it is recommended, when immediate threat is not necessary, to go Dev-Dev-Dev-SS & Dev-Dev (using Revenge when possible).
There is no point in time where one should neglect Revenge. Keep the Devastates going as normal, but if Revenge lights up use it immediately, then continue the cycle. After 5x SA, Devastate returns to it's seemingly normal place in the rotation -- a backseat to Shield Slam & Revenge.
At any point in time one is over 50 rage, use Heroic Strike. For Cleave, which generates threat close to that of HS, use it against 2+ targets & only when above 60 rage, if at all.

I think you misunderstood the entire point of my post. It had nothing to do with you going into detail, rather I wanted to show you why you experienced what you did. Also, remember that I have to inform everyone when making a post -- I can't presume they know what you already knew.
Your post was fine. I'm glad you made it as it was informative & practical, something tangible which people can relate to. Posts like yours are necessary to the spread of information because when all people see are spreadsheets, they sometimes get turned off, =)
As far as 80s music, I love everything I grew up with. I would say one of the more "fun" songs I listen to when playing is probably "Whip It."

Well, to be honest you do tend to jumble your posts, but at least you use a period. I know someone who just continuously writes & never uses a period. Needless to say, some sentences are difficult to read.
I saw someone with a signature which showed the difference punctuation can make. Unfortunately, I forgot their username.

I like the explanation of why one should use a Harvard comma. The Harvard comma is the comma that comes after the last item in a list. The reason I always use a Harvard comma is evidenced by the following book dedication:

Unless you have some kind of very impressive lineage, the first dedication clearly expresses what the author means to say.

I fail to see the Harvard comma in newspapers, online, and even in business letters which are improperly typed.
One of the most annoying errors, to me, would be the "quotations period." The British use a different rule for punctuation with quotes, so it's kinda like, blah.
Generally speaking, I don't really care about proper punctuation (just include a period, for Pete's sake) in the forums. We're not here typing business letters, but I do like being able to read without a necessary translation. I think casual correspondence is fine here, =P
