Long story short, I've been playing since launch and was a part of a semi-hardcore raiding guild that was together from Vanilla Through Wrath. I was much more casual in Cataclysm and Mists, but the new Flex system looks like it's perfect for me... it lets me play in something more organized than LFR, but still allow me the occasional night off if work and/or family calls.
I'm in U.S. Central Time, so a CST or PST server would be ideal, but I do have some evening flexibility so it's not a hard requirement.
Anyway, if your guild is looking to build a Flex raiding team and needs healers, I'm your human!
P.S. Willing to change servers, but not faction.(##RESPBREAK##)2060##DELIM##Sas148##DELIM##I've deleted the old thread you made on June 6th with the same information. Please remember, one thread per person in this forum. You may edit/rename and bump (once every 24-hours). There is no need to make new threads. Thank you!

Sorry about that, I had forgotten about my old thread.

Sorry, your guild sounds interesting, but as I mentioned in the OP, I'm not willing to change factions.

Not sure how casual you want to be- our main raid team only goes Thurs and Mon nights 6-8 PST, but we do normal modes and sometimes heroics. Currently we have ToT on farm, and are 1/12 heroic, but we manage normal progression with only 4 hours a week of raiding.
We're laid back and pretty friendly- it's a mature, drama-free, rage-free environment and we like it. We understand life comes first, and everyone has that day when they have to go do family or job stuff and have to call out- all we ask is some notice so we can try and get a replacement. We're looking for healers because we're currently using regular pugs, and one of them has an unreliable internet connection and tend to lag or DC, which is hurting progression. Also, she no-show-no-noticed yesterday which was fun.
We're Alliance, on Nazjatar (warning in advance- server is dead as heck, though we're pretty self-sufficient as a guild and can craft almost anything in house). We provide flasks, repairs and feasts for raiding. We'd want to run something cross server with someone before asking them to put themselves out and transfer- maybe a Terrace run or something to see how it goes. We're looking for someone who takes responsibility to learn the fights, to gem and enchant properly, and keep up with class changes, but also knows it's not worth getting upset when we wipe or miss a night.
Is this something you'd be looking for, or do you want to stick with a guild who is set on flex raiding primarily?(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##ElhonnaDS##DELIM##

That is an excellent question. The reason I'm thinking flex is best for me is because I have three young children and let's just say the unexpected happens... often. I'd hate to commit to a 10 man run, find out 30 minutes before hand that I can't go and then the evening gets called off. That's no fun for anyone.
Granted, flex isn't a complete cure for that type of situation, but I think being a part of a flex team means that the chances of that happening are significantly less. If you guys do end up building a flex team, please let me know because everything about your guild sounds great.

It sounds like you would a good fit for our guild. We have a lot of other members with a family life probably very similar to yours. We have awesome, helpful members and are always looking for more like-minded players. We definitely have a progressive raid team, but not hard core by any means. While we are interested in recruiting a healer for our raid team, we are also looking to recruit for our flex raids and for people who can fill in when our main raiders are unavailable. This sounds like it would be a perfect fit for what you are looking to do. It would give you the ability to do flew raiding whenever you want to and even do some normal raids when time allows. Thanks for the heads up. I just tried to register at your guild website, but it came back with a message that said it couldn't send an email. I registered with the username 'discolando' and my email is discolando (at) gmail.com.

Hiya! with so many bot accounts being created, we had to set it up so that any new accounts that are made need to be activated by myself or another officer. I just went in to try to activate your account, but I didn't see it there. I just checked though and it looks like you registered on our DKP site, not our forums site...which is totally my bad for not explaining that in the post! If you want to go back and make the account from the forum page, I can then activate it to allow you to post there. Also, you are more than welcome to add me on real ID if it would be easier to chat that way, zanthe#1155.

Well, that's a 50 dkp minus for me for not reading. I just registered for your forums. :)

Haha, you are definitely not the first one to do so. The fact that you are even able to make an account on the DKP page without first making a forum account is awkward anyways. I activated the account for you, so you should be able to see our public forums and the application to become a member. All you need to do at this point would be copy the blank application, create a new post under our 'WoW-Member Applications' forum and then fill in all of the blanks. The application is really more of a formality and just helps people get to know a bit about you really. There is normally a 15 day trial member period, which really is only to ensure that we don't end up with some complete jerk in the guild who then has to be kicked later. After 15 days, we have our member vote you into the guild basically. In all of my years here, I have never seen anyone fail the vote lol. I realize it may sound like a silly process, but I just wanted to be upfront with our process so there are no surprises later. And I think that about covers anything that I usually go over with new members. If you have any other questions at all, please let me know. You can message me on here, or send me a private message on our forums as well, my name on there is Zanthe. Also, you are still welcome to add me to realID as well, zanthe#1155. I tend to alt hop a lot so it's usually easier to do that then trying to catch me online on one of my many toons hehe.

Hey, just wanted to give you a quick update - I actually found a small guild on my own server that is a really good fit for me, and I just joined them yesterday. Thanks for your response and your offer, though. I really appreciate it.
