Considering the icon, I bet this achievement will be awarded for using Swapblaster on a player with Neural Silencer buff, triggering a Swapblaster Explosion.

Got it on the PTR while servers were down this morning.

Need to swap someone and then die. There seem to be restrictions on it as it didn't work for us in a few places but I can confirm it works in Mythic Algeth'ar Academy.

We walked near an edge at the start of the dungeon, swapped and jumped off to our deaths. It may require a current content instance to accomplish because the same thing did not work in Orgrimmar, Valdrakken or Blackwing Descent. Can't zone in to non-legacy raids on PTR so we couldn't test out DF raids but it definitely works in DF dungeons.

As commented by YariniCeteri, this achievement can be earned by using the Swapblaster to kill yourself.

The specific set-up I used was: have a friend stand at the edge of a platform - we used the starting platform in Algeth'ar Academy - then have them jump off the edge. While they are falling, use your Swapblaster. You'll take their place, fall to your death, and earn the achievement!

Just to make it clear. You don't have to be an Engineer for this achievement. Buy the Swapblaster from the AH and use it as explained above/below in Algeth'ar Academy.

Confirmed you can also get this achievement in Hellfire Citadel.

Just queue up with another player for the LFR "Destructor's Rise atop Hellfire Citadel" by talking to Seer Kazal in your garrison.
Turn left where the two enemies are at the beginning and have your buddy jump down then very quickly do the swap.

I assume this only works with instant kill- or deathzones (or whatever they are called), so fall damage deaths don't count.

Got this trying to swapblaster a guildie into the pre-fight tindral fires, the ones he casts while the raid is going up. The fire went off while I was in the middle of swapblasting, and this triggered.

Just did this in Algethar and had a couple of false starts because of two issues. If you haven't soulbound your Swapblaster, do that first because a confirmation dialogue will pop up. The other thing was that I wasn't standing on the edge of the platform where my friend jumped, just near it, so he passed out of line of sight just before the cast time finished. Stand right up to the edge to avoid that.

This achevement can currently be abused by players and they can kill you but still get the achevment watch yourself.

Curious that this achievement does not seem to work in the open world - but it still functions in the Algeth'ar dungeon (Normal/HC/Mythic), and you just need to enter the dungeon, and have a friend with you to swap places with as the leap off the entrance platform.

I wonder if you can swap with a friend standing on the press in Dornogal to get both this and Flat Earthen at the same time.

If your swap fails, check if your friend has Neural Silencer buff, you need to drop it in order your swapper works properly.

As others have said, Algeth'ar Academy is a good place to do this.
Just don't be a @#$%^&* like me and actually go INSIDE THE INSTANCE!

It will not work in the open world version of the Academy.
