when you are fighting the boss you picck up the cave rubble you want to let the boss do his frontal on you so it turns into a cave pebble and you are able to throw it at the 6 things you get a few throws too.

Do not pull this boss until you have a firm understanding of what to do, as it's currently bugged. If you hit the Zaqali Boltthrower with a pebble and then wipe it will not respawn with the others and you have to reset the instance to get the achievement.

With the disclaimer out of the way, the achieve is not that difficult. Off the edges of the balconies are the 6 mobs you have to hit for the achieve. Some are rather small and hard to see, so I'd recommend you /target them before the pull and get them marked so they're easier to see. They can all be seen from the south balcony, and all but the Rock Snail and Cave Beetle can be seen from the north balcony.

I didn't think to take many screenshots, and ended up with no screenshots of the Rock Snail of Cave Beetle so all I have is this super scuffed screenshot.

1 - Siege Mammoth
2 - Ember Mouse (pats along the path I drew with the arrow)
3 - Zaqali Boltthrower (pats among the Ballistae but spends a lot of time stationary)
4 - Magma Slug
5 - Rock Snail (off the screen to the right)
6 - Cave Beetle (off the screen to the right)

To get the pebbles you need to pick up the rocks spawned by the boss casting his tank frontal in P2 and then take those rocks into the next tank frontal. They will then shatter giving you a new extra action button with 3 pebbles that can be thrown super far. You use these pebbles to hit the 6 mobs you need for the achievement and can then kill the boss. The only one that you might have to think about is the Ember Mouse. Because it pats so far and moves fairly quickly, the travel time of the pebble has to be accounted for and you need to lead the shot a little bit to predict where it will be. Luckily you get a ton of rocks and even non-tanks can live the frontal on normal so you can have lots of people pick up and throw. Just keep in mind if you're doing this then you'll have fewer rocks to throw on the climbing adds and more to kill.

As mentioned above, we had a wipe after hitting the Zaqali Boltthrower and it never respawned when the boss did, but the othrer mobs we needed did. We sat for a while and waited to see if he would spawn, and tried resetting the boss but nothing worked. We ended up resetting the instance and that seemed to work. When we killed it the first time without the Boltthrower being hit we decided to hit the other 5 anyways in the hope it would give us the achievement anyways and while it didn't, it did give us credit for the other 5 after the boss died, so it seems you can get these done across multiple kills if needed.

Do not reset the boss for hero or anything before your actual pull! It will bug out the Zaqali Boltthrowers and there won't be any when the boss spawns again. You'll have to get out and reset the instance for them to be back.

Instructions for Assault of the Zaqali - Before pulling the boss, go onto one of the platforms and mark the following creatures:
Ember Mouse - To the far right in the blue area
Rock Snail - To the far right in the blue area
Magma Slug - A bit to the left under the first platform in the magma area
Siege Mammoth - On top of the Magma Slug in the magma area
Zaqali Bolthrower - Further up at the back in the magma area
Cave Beetle - Further up at the back in the magma area

Check out the video linked in the comment to see the location of these creatures.

During the fight, pick up the pebbles that fall from the ceiling, then stand in the tank frontal (brown colour), the action button icon will change and you will now be able to throw the rock at the creatures. Hit all 6 creatures before phasing the boss into the second phase.

VERY IMPORTANT

1) this is done in phase1 (after when you dps the boss and groups go to their sides)
- the boss performs a frontal attack called Heavy Cudgel
this will spawn rocks on the ground
kill mythics/adds while waiting for the attack
*boss performs attack and spawns rocks

2) pickup a rock, do not throw it, just wait
wait for a 2nd frontal Heavy Cudgel and THEN STAND IN IT
this will change the rock into a pebble

3) throwing a pebble has 3 charges
find your 3 animals and throw rocks
PSA - the ingame tracker was not recording successful hits, use a weakaura until you see that 'Criteria has been met'

4) DPS boss continue fight as usual

This requires a bit of set up, and everyone should be aware of where to throw a pebble.

The 6 mobs are on the ground as can be seen from the platforms.

The near side has the Rock Snail, Cave Beetle, and Magma Slug.

The far side has the Siege Mammoth, Zaqali Boltthrower, and Ember Mouse.

We marked each, but it was hard to see the marks from the platform.

Divide into two groups. With half of the raid going to each platform.

In order to get a pebble you must pick up a Cave Rubble spawned during phase 2 and then stand in Heavy Cudgel (cased by Warlord Kagni).

After this you get three Cave Pebble to throw to the previously mentioned mobs. Be aware that Zaqali Boltthrower and Ember Mouse Mouse move, and there is a cast time and a travel time on the pebble so you need to account for where it will be.

Once all six mobs have been hit, you can kill the boss.
