To get the lump of flesh, stay in the pool that you drop down into after Echo of Neltharion and let the stacks reach 10. During the fight simply stand on the edge of the platform and press the extra action button to throw it off while you're in the star realm. Extra action button doesn't appear until you're near the edge.

Given the name of this achievement and the nature of throwing a lump of flesh into the open void, it would be a crime if they never make another meta where we have to catch the lump on some future void-themed boss. You can call it 'Never Say Never'.

As for the actual meta, when you drop down from Echo of Neltharion you land in a shallow pool of water. Hop out and clear all the trash up to Sarkareth, but don't hop down to his room. Go back to that pool and swim down until you reach the bottom, where you'll start getting stacks of a DoT. When you reach 10 stacks you'll get the Lump of Flesh debuff which reduces your max health by 30%.

If you die, you lose the debuff so you must survive all of P1 with reduced health. This is a personal achievement so if someone dies you can continue and anyone who throws their lump will still get the achieve.

When P1 ends you'll get given stacks of Oblivion and at 10 stacks the intermission will start and you'll be brought down into the Emptiness Between Stars. You have roughly 20 seconds to collect all 3 of the white circles to bring yourself back up top. If you go to the edge of the platform while in this phase you'll get an extra action button that will let you throw the lump off the edge. Once you've thrown yours you can kill the boss.

While the intermission between P1 and P2 is the easiest time since everyone is forced to go down, you can re-enter the Emptiness Between Stars during P2 and P3 by getting to 10 stacks of Oblivion again by using the fight mechanics. If for some reason you missed the clear in the intermission, just go down again and throw it then.

After completing the trash before Sarkareth backtrack to the pool and wade in the water for 25 or so seconds until your 10 stack debuff becomes Lump of Flesh. The debuff lasts 10 minutes and it would be safe to have at least 3 minutes remaining on said debuff before pulling the boss. If the time drops below 5 minutes I'd recommend jumping off the platform, releasing and getting the debuff again before pulling the boss.

In addition to dying, using immunities will remove the debuff thus making attaining the achievement impossible. This includes, but may not be limited to, Paladin bubble, Mage iceblock and Rogue cloak of shadows. Against your natural instinct, do your best to not use these abilities to survive in P1. I don't think abilities like Hunter turtle will remove it, but thats speculation. The flesh appears as a debuff mid combat, even when you cannot throw the flesh, so you can check at any time whether or not you still have it. Cheat death procs of all kinds do not remove the debuff.

Instructions for Scalecommander Sarkareth - Before going onto the boss platform, jump into the purple pool in the corridor and stay there until you get the Lump of Flesh debuff, which reduces your health by 30% for 10 minutes. The point of this achievement is to survive phase one, it’s a personal achievement, so if 1 person fails, the others will still get it. When phasing into the Emptiness Between Stars, go to the edge and use the action button to throw away the lump of flesh, that’s it! Now just continue with the boss fight as normal. If you die at any point after the first phase, the achievement will still count.

Rogues: Cloak of Shadows removes the debuff. So. Don't use it.

Is one of the easiest of the whole mount's meta achy tbh.

A few notes:
- The pool at the start to get the debuff, is super shallow. I thought I'd at least have my head underwater for a little bit when I heard I had to swim down (and figured I'd have to go down a little way), but in reality, the pool is barely more than standing distance (probably why I keep dying when I land in it :P ).
You do have to try to 'swim' downwards before you get stacks of the debuff though, so tilt your camera down (hold right mouse button), and keep at it

- Using Immunities removes the 'lump of flesh' debuff. Our rogue used her cloak of shadows and found this out the hard way :(

- When you first get the debuff, after getting out of the pool, you immediately get an extra action button to use, to toss the lump. DON'T USE IT... you'll have to get another one...
When the fight starts, the extra action button disappears, until you're in the other phase, and at the very edge of the platform.

- After you throw the lump, you gain a new buff (I forget what it was called, I'll update this when I next do Sarkareth though! but it looks like the same red blob icon from the lump of flesh, and says something about having thrown the lump away)... and this persists through death. So long as you have that buff, and the boss dies, you seem to be good to receive the achy.
2 of our group died after throwing the lump away correctly, and still got their achy :)

- The achy is a personal one, as others have said. Doesn't matter if someone else fails it (or if no one but you attempts it), as long as you do the correct bits, you'll get the achy.

- We had our entire group throw their lump on the first intermission (the first chance we had to be in the other phase), and suffered no ill effects for doing so.

- Of note, the only thing to change up for the fight otherwise, is to be mindful that you have 30% less health... so that first phase's danger points (with glimmering surge) are moreso dangerous. I'd recommend bringing an extra heal just to be sure (we had 3 healers in an 11man group :) )

This is a personal achievement

First you should clear all the trash leading to Sarkareth, but do not jump down. Instead, go back to the water and go for a dip to get 10 stacks of the Clinging Void debuff. Once you get to stacks it will turn into a Lump of Flesh.

Pull Sarkareth and do phase 1 as normal.

When phase 1 ends, after you get 10 stacks of Oblivion, you will be thrown into the Emptiness Between Stars. Go to the edge of the platform and click your extra action button to throw the Lump of Flesh off the platform.

Walk through the three white circles to bring yourself back up top.

If you didn't throw your Lump of Flesh during that phase you can also throw it by going down the normal way during the rest of the fight and throwing in then.

Kill Sarkareth to get the achievement.

If you've gotten all the other achievements, congrats on your new mount!

I was afraid if i died i didnt get the achievement , but i died (as usuall) and still got this achievement. I managed to throw the lump in phase 2 so thats the only thing you gotta worry about.
