It may not be how some people wanted like azeroth’s champion but it’s still somewhat decent of a meta/capstone progression goal for people to focus on. Just happy to see they are doing something, and then tangentially they decided to keep mage tower up all the time.

Hopefully what we see tomorrow will be good.

This is the good way to make an effort based meta Feat to reward players for exploring all content in an expansion. Whilst I could understand the Essences being locked behind different types of content, having an expansion meta based around being the best in all content was demotivating at best. The hardest on this list is probably Tower Ranger, the most time invested Shadowlands Dilettante, and you do require to at least clear all three raids on LFR. The rest is just playing the game. As of this post, I have everything done but Tower Ranger, for which I miss two 16s and the Gauntlet on 5 and above (which is getting nerfed).

The problem I have with this cheevo, even though it sounds cool and encouraging to explore shadowlands and all the covenants, is that this was never EVEN HINTED at the beginning of the xpac, so people were never mentally prepared to actually start planning how to complete this IN TIME, since this is going away when DF goes live. I actually like to complete as much content as I can and real life can permit, but with SL being such a disappointing xpac and many times feeling like not bothering playing it for long periods of time, you reason "well there are some sort of cool things to complete but I can do them at my own pace later, right?"

So this is coming in patch 9.2.5 and we're gonna be rushed to complete this before it goes away, specially to those guys that never started more than 1 covenant because we were lied to that this xpac was gonna be alt-friendly, so how much time will we have before next xpac comes? So we're on a time limit, getting rushed, with uncertainty on how much time we have? That ain't cool and I'm not down with that.

1. Really excited to see Blizzard keeping with these large expansion meta-achievements for the completionists like Azeroth's Champion in BFA.
2. Sad to see them remove the skill-based requirements that the Rank 4 essences had regarding PvP and raiding. I was hoping they would tack on a M+ dungeon requirement as well, these types of requirements really set an achievement apart I feel.
3. This is still difficult to earn as this has been announced so late in the game that, for many people, if you have not already worked on some requirements it may be impossible (with bad luck) to complete this if you are starting from zero before Dragonflight drops and it becomes unobtainable.

Oooh, the On the Offensive is on the list! Even if it would be additionally nerfed from six items, it still needs at least few weeks with very unlikely rng alignments.
Yet, if anyone is after the FoS, better start "working" on this one right now, as it is extremaly time-gated atop rng-gates atop rng-gates meta.

If anyone's logging in shortly after 9.2.5 and wondering why you didn't immediately get it--maybe you did! Check the "Feats of Strength" tab; I got it retroactively with a date in March instead of the date I logged in. Interestingly the date is when I got the achievement for clearing Sepulcher, not the date when I finished the last achievement on the list.

To me only the Flawless layer 16 on every Torghast wings are the left ones. Just a matter of increasing my ilvl more and jump in. As a Hunter I already got great anima powers, but mainly 3 ones that buff the Aspect of Turtle (to last longer while you CAN attack with it. stackable thrice) and Feign Death (one to decrease it's CD by 15s, and the other making the use of it to RESET all Aspects' CDs, including the Turtle).

The more time-gated ones people should have been working one them anyway, specially if they played since the beginning, and were smart to play at least 1 character on each covenant (for less pain). Glad they made some of them account-wide, like the campaign and Renown ones.

For those that want some quick reference hyperlinks in chat, since the achievement tracking pane will not show the individual parts required when you click on it, here is my script. It's so disappointing that this achievement only provides a title, and not even that interesting of a title, a mount reward + title would sound a lot better and more interesting to farm!

Back from the Beyond (Legacy) Just got it today, 10 September 2022. From barely any related achievements, or even upgraded sanctum, and only one sanctum storyline completed as of the launch of Patch 9.2.5., to completed in about 3 months. It was equal parts fun and frustrating, and Wowhead's Back from the Beyond Shadowlands Meta Achievement Guide definitely helped me out to plan my approach. It's not too late, and I wish everyone the best of luck!

It has been confirmed that this achievement and the accompanying title will no longer be obtainable as of Dragonflight launch:

However, it appears it will be obtainable after the Pre-patch but before launch (since the announcement has a separate category for rewards going away during pre-patch such as Mythic Plus Season 4 rewards).

Sucks that the title is being removed in Dragonflight, considering a lot of tasks don't really get any easier, like doing all the special covenant stuff that takes weeks or months to do due to timegating.

Started this 2 weeks ago, and as more and more things are being uncovered about DF, I get more and more scared that I started of too late.
But always look on the bright side! Already this achievement has shown me so many great thing of this addon which I would have never seen without it, so even just the adventures are worth the attempt!

Edit: Only missing one more weekly quest from Maldraxxus! Praying to Chordy for the right quest before DF comes out!
For everyone who STILL hasn't started: There still is time to get it!

Edit 2: DONE! Got the last Chordy quest today! It took me a total of about 6-7 resets, but I had quite a few things done before I even started. Also I am aware that it was very lucky to get every Maldraxxi quest this fast.
If you haven't started by the time you are reading this, you are probably too late, but there still are a few very cool rewards from some of the achievements!

why is this time limited? this is literally a meta expansion achievement. Its not like its a legendary questline like MoP or WoD. (even though I believe those questlines should still be around...as they are integral to the expansion. New Players playing those expansions are not playing the whole expansion which is a shame.)

My son was born earlier in 2022. Since I had to step away from the game for that reason, I'm really saddened that this is such a time-gated achievement, particularly Shadowlands Dilettante, which is probably the only one that I might not have by the time Dragonflight launches and this becomes unavailable.
It's unfortunate, and I'm still going to try to complete them all regardless. It's honestly been a lot of fun so far catching up on the other covenants and raiding that I never played. Makes me really wish I had, and I'll take that lesson with me into the next expansion by exploring a lot more and enjoying the different facets of the game.
The completionist in me will definitely finish all of the metas that go into this one regardless of where I am at launch.
I wish everyone going for this the best of luck, godspeed.

The back from the beyond achievement will be removed with dragonflight launch. So good luck to everyone still trying. All I'm missing are 3 quests from abominable lives so let's hope RNG-luck is on our side.

Discovered the existence of this achievement and the associated Veilstrider title in early September, by complete chance, when two guildmates were talking about it in Discord.

Raiding was OK, Torghast stuff was almost done, Maw achievements pretty much finished as well. Couple of catching up here and there to do, but well manageable.
However, I had made virtually no progress on Shadowlands Dilettante. Due to playing Night Fae almost all expansion, I was Revered with Marasmius... and that was it.

Zero Ember Courts hosted.
Zero Trials conquered.
Zero Abominable Stiching constructs built.

I didn't even have the associated buildings ! I thought it was impossible, but still gave it a go... just to be sure.

Well, today I hosted the last 4 Ember Court guests needed for the achievement, and the last Stitchmasters quest I needed was available as well.
Today, I joined the Veilstriders !

PS: Protip: Any level 50+ alt can, for just 2000 gold, give you 4000 anima transferable to your main character. Saved me hours of farming.

Was able to finish the big meta today, November 15th, the day of the second part of pre-patch/Evoker launch on my 6th total reset of trying to wrap up (primarily) Shadowlands Dilettante.

Good luck to anyone behind a week or two needing that abomination factory quest rotation to go their way on the last reset next week!

Finish it 3 days before the expansion ends. Thank God the ones I still needed were not the ones requiring dailies. Just Abomination Factor accessory and Maw rare/elite killing.

First week of the Dragonflight - achievement still CAN be obtained (if you have some covenant stuff left, or any other achievement that is still possible to complete).

I had Be Our Guest not completed with Ember Court The Ember Court.
So I completed the the final scenario with Choofa 12/5/22 - and that rewarded me with Shadowlands Dilettante, that gave me Back from the Beyond (Legacy) and the
Still with the Ember Court quest The Ember Court there is a 'problem' - you have to be level 70 to participate in the scenario.

Well I can confirm that achievement Is still obtainable on 20/12/2022 meaning Dragonflyght , only needed the quest from Guillotine - Cut'em down to size . Got FoT achievement and title. Don't give up , happy hunting !

Got this a couple days ago. Still obtainable in Dragonflight. Maybe they realized some of the achievements take a long time or low RNG so they aren't removing until 10.1?

I did NOT get the achievement today, having finally had the last quest for Abominable Lives come up. I have a sinking feeling that it was disabled/broken in 10.0.5. I've put in a ticket, but don't have high hopes.
