The objective here is to charge the big Sacred Gear hanging above King Gobbamak's throne.

To do so you need to run up on the throne with the Electrical Charge you get from Charged Smash. The difficult part here is that the throne needs to be charged at all time! If the charge falls off, you can't recharge it again. As soon as you pull the boss, an electrical spark will appear in the middle of the gear, showing that it is currently charged. To keep the gear charged, you need one player(Player X) to run to the throne right after he's been hit by Charged Smash. Since the charge only lasts 20 sec, you need a second player(Player Y) to save their Electrical Charge by not moving close to either Stolen Scrapbot or Stolen Shock Coil. Player Y needs to move to the gear before the Electrical Charge debuff runs out, and thereby prolonging the charge on the gear. Player X and Y needs to repeat this process until the boss is defeated.

Do keep in mind, that with 2 Electrical Charges going to the gear, you now only have 3 charges to help you defend against the small troggs swarming you. We used the last 3 charges to power up the Stolen Shock Coil to the right when you enter the boss area, the Stolen Shock Coil placed opposite to the left of the throne and the Stolen Scrapbot. Also remember that the Electrical Charge does damage to players around you, so do not stack, and that it doesn't matter who charges the gear, so if someone for example get knocked into a shock coil or the scrapbot when hit by Charged Smash, someone else can save their charge and run to the gear.

With current gear, could the group just all group up under the throne at the start, aoe the trash and burst the boss down?

Just keep 2 members of your group keep charging the big Sacred Gear in every 20 sec or so apart. We had ret pally and elemental shaman doing this. Bloodlust if you want, but it's not mandatory. Easy enough nowadays: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulcvzngiEis

I can confirm I just did this achievement with a guildmate, where we decided to burn the boss before he casted his charged smash ability, since the spark on the sacred gear is charged for the first 20 seconds of the fight. We burned him with all our cooldowns in about 11 seconds and were both awarded the achievement.

Soloed this as a ilvl 240 Fury Warrior. I pulled the boss onto the throne nuking him as fast as possible. When the first set of adds spawn you need to kill them asap to make sure the Electrical Charge transfers to the throne and not to the adds. Seconds later the boss will cast Charged Smash which you need to stand in to get the debuff. The debuff will then transfer to the throne and you have 20 seconds to kill the boss (thats why you need to nuke early). If the cog above the throne loses the electric visual before the boss dies then you have failed.

I had to restart a number of times because the Charged Smash often misses because we are higher level in Shadowlands.

Easy Solo for Level 70 Dragonflight & Beyond...

1) Mythic Difficulty.

2) Begin Fight by running up to the throne and attacking boss.

3) Nuke boss with everything you got, ASAP.

4) ?

5) Profit. Achievement Completed.
