Like most of this quest chain, very buggy. Even when you see heart and confirm you find new location, it will fail to credit/complete without a relog

"Distance from a potential hive site" would mean that you need to get the bar to 0, when you actually need to get it to 100. Some good wording there, Blizz.

No problem with the quest, and you don't have to go to the coordinates as suggested in the first post. Once you reach the destination, an action button will appear, and clicking it will cause the bee to disappear. Return to the quest giver and complete the quest there.

This chain is the most annoying I've experienced in a long time, my god I hope these kind of quests go away

"Distance from" It would mean you have to reach 0/100 and not 100/100, I've would've thought that distance 0 is when you arrive at the location! not the exact opposite

Set to static flight and you can fly on a mount and still see the direction :)

Nothing useful here, i'm just complaining because this questchain made me unreasonably mad.

How this is a campaign quest series is beyond me, we finally get a beautiful void zone and the longest questchain there is hunting for bees in a BFA zone and then babysitting them.
What makes this even worse is that most people will take this quest after getting told to kill Dimensius so you go from killing a void lord to this.

I wanted to baby ruth the *!@#ing queen into the sun when it refused the hive the second time, the most &*!@#$% minigame in existence that turns off the UI for it when you mount so if you're a slow class you get to experience the wonder and fun of walking a marathon and a half at snail's pace.
"Make it so you have to pixel perfect click the bees that are 3 pixels across and light in coloration, don't forget to place them over brightly colored dirt and sand so people can't see it. Dance for the bee, sing for the bee, wash the bee, seduce the bee, marry the bee, give the bee your kids and house!
I have encountered more bugs (haha funny) in this questline than i have in every other tww questline combined. Every damned quest in this chain is broken in some way and not just that, it's also designed to piss you off or make you grief other players doing the same quest, we were bunched up in the zone and all tagged a bee and waited for others to tag too so everyone gets credit, then some troglodyte tranqs it. the hives in the BFA zone need to respawn after a player picks them so god forbid you've $%^& reaction times because there's a raid party worth of people camping those trying to get the quest done, when one gets it, 3 more players that need it come.
I legit do not understand why the hell they did this, first they mark this as a main quest when players are stuck because no story mode dimensius, Then they make it the longest questchain (or at least what feels like the longest) in the zone. This first gave me whiplash, i thought i had a stroke or walked into the wrong portal or something bugged out, but no, this is real and is supposed to happen. Then i actually got to experience the quests and somehow those managed to ruin my day, and now i'm here ranting.

I'd sooner *!@# an anthill before finishing the other 7 questchains, i can't believe i wasted like 2 hours on this chain thanks in no small part to every damned quest breaking and needing warmode or turning the game off/on again, if you don't have an SSD and take a while to load this will take you a whole day if you're unlucky enough. I want my time and joy back. I get home from work tired, finally i have time to finish the main questline, then i get blueballed by no storymode for main story requiring dimensius and afterwards i walk into this torture device.

Just make it a sidequest and cut the chores in half, Christ. I actually hate bees now.

This quest chain is probably meant to raise the player's interest in ecological themes. In understanding the complicated balance in nature. In the importance of bees for the flourishing of just about anything in the circle of life.

Well ... actually ... I started to really hate bees today after doing quest after quest after quest including powdering the queen bees arse with cinnamon and sugar (not sure, but i wasn't paying attention anymore).

Pick up the queen, fly around. When you get close a 'meter' will show up on your screen to let you know how close you are to a potential site. When you are at the potential site, another icon will pop up. Click it and, at least for me, it took 3 different sites before the queen was 'satisfied'. (72.92/36.68) is where I finally found it. Good luck

After following all the helpful comments, I never got past 99% no matter how much I humped the tree/rock...
Re-logged; same thing... Abandoned it like so many other broken worthless quests...
Good thing it's important to the stupid chain... I'd hate to have to spend 2 hours humping trees for nothing...

Follow the brown smoke in front of you. When you get to the point , an icon will appear. Press it . If the Queen likes the place , then quest completes. Took me two locations to make the Queen happy. Check screenshot.

It's astonishing how uncreative and unfun you can make a quest chain and then extend it on for no reason, just like yes, let's make this as tedius and uninspired as humanly possible. Are the devs using AI to make chains now and inputting "make 100 bee quests that are all very similar and extremely boring and make it so you contemplate abandoning the quest and uninstalling wow rather than going any further because it's so painful"

I don't want to have to google where a location is. I don't want to have to take 100 pictures of bees. I don't want 100 quests about bees going back and forth doing the same thing in different zones. Give me 10 hogs to kill, that's all i want, that's all I've ever wanted.

Omg, whose idea was it to label the meter 'Distance from a potential hive' and have it get higher as the player gets nearer? THAT IS NOT HOW DISTANCE OR LANGUAGE REGARDING DISTANCE OR PROXIMITY WORK 😩😵‍💫 This had me going the opposite way for like 8 minutes til I came to find some helpful comments..

The co-ordinates that she accepted for me was /way 72.93, 36.71, but may be different for others.

You only need to go to the final hive location /way 72.98, 36.72 Final Hive Location so skip the other locations and save yourself the headache. Good Luck !

The "distance to new hive" indicator words the opposite way. Meaning a distance of 0 is the farthest away and 100 is the closest to the new hive.
